@Call4pizza because that is not a complete terrorist stereotype. A lot of outdated weapons appear in the game as do normal weapons. A lot of terrorists are dangerous for using the newest weaponry and surprising tactics (they have children attacking soldiers, not just ambushes).

Slack...Curious but how exactly do you map the patrols without arousing (should have used a different word) them but keep them in your line of sight?

Use the scope on a sniper rifle to track them on foot while keeping as far away as possible. Then follow them while keeping well offroad and behind some cover whenever possible. It takes a while. You can't map a whole patrol route in one passing while hiking along and keeping in cover. Typically I'll try to find one end of the patrol route and then work my way carefully along to the other end while watching them carefully when they pass.

Thanks Slack...After mussing about in one area of World one, I attempted to follow a patrol on foot, but as you know they got way ahead of me. I did not think about the sniper scope, but I did try to use the monical. The map kept getting in the way. Then I thought you might use a vehicle, keeping as far off road as possible, I did not see how that was viable. I was under the impression you did it all in one go; or while keeping up with the target with the shortest amount of time spent.

Actually there is a gear shift to the right. The protagonist is just so proficient at shifting that you cannot see it.

That's right. It's best to run in short controlled bursts to avoid getting blurry. And I haven't confirmed this yet but it seems as if you can run farther when going downhill.
