@pipercub123456 well you can keep hoping for Peace, it will never happen and its never existed so why try to live in a fantasy world. this is reality War, racism, murdering its been around since the beginning of time you cant run or hide from it because it will soon be at your front door step.
@1roiboi Their technology is catching up fast, yes it still loses to the US, but they already made their first Stealth fighter similar to F22, by 2016 the US will be the 2nd place in world power, Japan might be still 3rd, but China will be first.
@HRHShawnPendragone..NASA studies showed the SR-71 with 85,000LBS fuel load accelerated from Mach#3.20 to Mach3.50@FL8000 then zoomed to FL9500 with the Mach decaying back to 3.20, the A/C would subsequently settle back to FL8400 due to limited wing surface loading area.plus limited inlet duct capture area,.the SR-71 rarely&only slighly ever exceeded its design speed or limiting altutude of Mach 3.20 and FL8500...
Damn...you should work on your grammar, that message makes little sense...
I have read up on it because ive studied the history of these planes since i was a child. I am well versed onmost aspects of the design process and mission history. The CIA do not use this plane anymore, All airframes are accounted for in museums. Look it up for yourself if you dont believe me. If you are that bothered, read a book by Paul Crickmore entitled Beyond the secret Missions.
None can tolerate anywhere near Mach 7due to the limits on temperature....it cannot exceed 427 degrees...Mach 3.2 is ideal cruising speed but can go a little more although exact details are still officially classified.
@streetlegals123 Y'know. I have to s\wonder about that. You mostly see the SR-71 and YF-12, but NONE of the A-12's. I do know that the A-12 was the better performing plane, but by how much is the question.
the a12 was the testing platform the cia was using when Lockheed was trying to convince that air force to adopt the sr71. In essence there exactly the same airplane but the a12 only has one crew and the sr71 has 2
And everyone thinks China can beat the US haha get the fuck outta here

@elkranch FL9500 would be 950,000 feet. The correct term is FL 800, 950 etc. Quit acting like you're a pilot.

@gypsykingg Agreed.... If SR-71 flew at FL8400 it would be in orbit at 159 miles.

Bullsh**
Y-12 = Interceptor
A-12 - Forerunner for SR-71 Built for CIA
SR-71 - RS-71 = True

It looks so fake in person.

@redtail5 Probably because of it being at sea like that. Ocean air can be hell on a stealthy plane's skin. Plus, it's serial number is gone.

yea, i saw it and i was like "wow what a bad paint job they did replicating this" haha
