Its so funny how people think bottled water is safe. Anything you drink out of plastic is toxic because when the bottle gets hot like when it is being transported the plastic let out chemicals into the drink then it goes in you. (Google it)

Cooling it doesn't kill germs. It just prevents them from growing fast enough to be a problem.

I personally like the point this video makes which is that we don't need bottled water as much as we buy it, certianly in areas where we can get the same amount of water from a tap where it is clean and costs only pennys. However for those without a access to clean water bottled water it very helpful.

This video is opinion "we dont really need" with science graphics. To obtain water from a mountain, containing all its minerals is a process of nature hard to replicate. Yet a bottle of fizzy pop is easier to make by modifying water with some E numbers &sugar. If this video had argued we should use Soda Streams at home with concentrate, nobody would listen. Which is the lesser of 2evils? Environment my arse. Just let them know that the bacteria levels in bottle water exceed mains water by far.

Who needs bottled water? Anyone without access to pure water; uncontaminated with fluoride. It's not convenient to carry a rain barrel around at work.

@alanpgoodwin maybe these people need a fresh water supply rather than bottled water. luxury taxing bottled water would raise enormous funds for water infrastructure work.
