why is it that nobody, yes, and that means all of us out there.. has come along to top Bob Marley yet? or at least even come... just a little close ?? his kids even though they sure try,and every one else cant even touch his shoes. Do we all have to worship a dead man forever??? frustrating sorry for the shocking statement.
Some comments are nt worth even 2 look @, 4 those who feel bob smoked weed! Why dont they smoke 2 & Give us the message as he did! What wrong with having some herbs? That if u can handle it! Bless up Bob.
Let me tell you -- the Wailers (this particular version backing Bob) were so excellent musically that I saw them perform as "The Wailers" in '84, after Bob died, and they were absolutely stunning. The earlier version of The Wailers included Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, two giants in their own right

I agree, but that was the case with most reggea bands of that era unfortunately, maybe it was to keep the sound typically drum, base and rythym and veer away from a rock influence, also a good lead guitarist will inevitably take a mighty chunk of the limelight thru phenominal popularity and outshine the frontman, IMO. :D. Have you listened to the lead guitarist on 'Ijahman levi' heavy load? check it out.
This really should not be posted here as it is from the commercially available "The Legend Live" dvd - buy the dvd - it is one of the best concert videos around!
really great .. junior marvin is off the wall..what a solo. bob marley gone??? whats up with that? what kiind of god takes someone like that so soon. he had so much to do, still waiting for someone to fill his shoes., no one yet come close,, even his kids. how long to we have to wait???? hello where are you... are you born yet///////
Junior marvin(Bob's guitar player) lived like 10 mins away from me in florida and played at the red bar and I've smoked with him! and he still kicks ass just an old rasta livin day to day that's reggae life
my personal favorite!!!!!!!!!! where is this love too be found???----- never known what happiness is------ i have got to pick myself from off the ground, in this concrete jungle. WOW!!!
No sun will shine in my day to day the high yellow moon won't come out to play. Darkness has covered my light and has changed my day into night where is this love to be found? Will someone tell me cos love sweet love must be found, instead of concrete jungle where the living is hard. Concrete jungle, O man you've got to do your best
This is not Peter Tosh on the guitar solo. This live show was in about 1979, 5 years or so after Tosh and Bunny had left. I guess Tosh was busy working on his fourth studio effort "Mystic Man" when Bob and his mates were performing at this show.
You are not alone on this guitar solo brother/sister, I like it too. Al(bert) Anderson was crazy on his lead!!!!!!!! Bob was also mesmerised that he went to him. I recall how it used to drive me crazy after buying "Babylon by Bus" (one my first Bob's tape) more than 20 years back.
I think that Bob Marley in this song, is talking about surviving in the mean street's of Jamaica. where it is the concrete jungle and the living is hard....
I love the sound the soloist is getting. What is his name?
