No obligatory, you can play with any controller and configure it. For example I play with a xbox360 pad and it runs perfectly, with vibrations, analog sticks and triggers ;)

I got same setup as this too, only minor downside is that there is always a faint blue/purp,le square in top corner of screen

This emulator runs nice & smooth in the Gameplay, most other Dolphin emulators are extremely slow
