There are plenty of plant based protein sources that provide all a human body's protein needs. Hemp seed, brown rice, and yellow pea protein powders. Lentil's, garbonzo's and other types of legumes & beans provide protein as well - too many make the assumption that choosing not to eat meat means no protein People should do their research before making statements like this.
I used to be a vegan but now I eat meat and I sure enjoy my meals a helluva lot more now that give my body what it is evolved to use.

It was refused air-time because it was too blatantly sexual. And I agree that a line should be drawn, so kids don't see people acting out sex (even if it's with asparagus).

I can see why it got banned. So what if it technically didn't show anything? it implied enough to be practically porn. If 0:24 had been anything other than asparagus, it would be porn. Imagine having this come on during the day in a room full of young kids and your parents...and then tell me you still see no reason for them refusing to air it. You have a seriously twisted view on life if you think this is objectional compared to all the violence they watch on TV. Practially porn? Are you serious??? This is no more then what victoria's secret or an ice cream commercial shows where a beutifull woman suggestively licks an ice cream.

what does violence have to do with porn? Stay on topic. And there is a major difference between someone suggestively licking something vs taking a phallic-shaped plant down below waist-level and thrusting her body. One is basically porn, the other is only sexually suggestive. One is practically having sex (even if it is with a vegetable as a dildo) and the other is merely flirting with the idea of sex. Both are sex centered, but they aren't even comparable in terms of how far they go with it.

There are plenty of plant based protein sources that provide all a human body's protein needs. Hemp seed, brown rice, and yellow pea protein powders. Lentil's, garbonzo's and other types of legumes & beans provide protein as well - too many make the assumption that choosing not to eat meat means no protein People should do their research before making statements like this.

I used to be a vegan but now I eat meat and I sure enjoy my meals a helluva lot more now that give my body what it is evolved to use.
I have nothing against people choosing to go veg -- after all, I did used to be on that bandwagon myself. However, I truly despise organizations like PeTA that try to push their agenda on everybody else.
