  • i was wondering if anyone could help me wtih my xperia....everytime i try to call someone...the person on the other line cant hear what i am saying but i can hear them perfectly fine...anyone know what i can do to fix this? thanks

  • @5566fanz go to the company and replace a new mic

  • I aggree, XPERIA is a fantastic Windows Mobile device. But I got bored and got me Google's Nexus One. Now THAT's a fantasic device! :)

  • ok you right I forgot for that . Sorry.

  • in normal use this is imposibile, what reason is for that abnormal use of phone.

  • I assure you: this is very possible in normal use. This happens while scrolling in Opera, while playing a quick tapping game, even while typing a message. --Please keep in mind that this video shows a method to DUPLICATE a bug. Of course rapidly tapping the start menu doesn't make any sense in real life usage! :)

  • lol haha

  • why are ud oing that theres no point. if u dont liek the phone return or somehting

  • What he trying to do???

    look dumb to me

  • I have one and i must say that yes, sometimes it freezes, but, i tryed this espetacular move from the maker of this "idiot" clip Mr. pikipirs, and the start function apear whenver i click on....even if i do very fast, no problem at all ...sorry for my bad bad english :)

  • Sadly, xperia is the worst phone I've had in my history of mobile phones. Even Motorla, Sagem and Siemens were better that this. Constantly freezing, slow and unnatural menu orders, button for dialing too close to the annoying panels button. :(

  • not really based on the phone, the phone is great quick fast has lot of ram looks great feels great, its windows mobile, strip it down load a custom rom that strips all the SE addin crap and the phone will run alot better.

  • Any phone will have a problem if you tap it a million times in one go like that!! Although I have to mention I have heard of quite a few problems with this phone which is a pity as I was going to get one.

  • Bare in mind that this is a bug replication procedure. One of course shoudn't threat his/her phone that way. On the other hand, this thing is (still) occuring in everyday application. You've seen a Panel selector - when pressing the Panel button, and right when a different panel is tapped, it freezes like that. Or in a multimedia panel, while searching for a song (and dragging the song list), it freezes and then jumps to somewhere random in the list. It is annoying.

  • Not to say the X1 is bad. It just has some issues (don't they all? :) ). This being one of them.

  • I guess the fast tapping thing just picking fault of bug at xperia.. I think it isn't the real bug, its just matter of Mhz thing. Be careful of the headset jack, my x1 headset icon still shown up once after I plugged off the headset, and it makes all things while you didn't use the headset didn't work when it unplugged, besides the headset jack makes a program run at the time you plug it in. So I guess headset jack is susceptible with a problems. Some bug that I found happens at added apps.

  • oh 1 more things if you get xperia and then complaint that its not good for games that needs quick taping. you tell me 2 things. 1. you got to be a mongoloid to buy xperia for the games. its a function busines phone not a PSP. game phones dont need qwerty keyboard. oh! and 2. what kind of idiot plays games that requires you to tap quickly anyway? the age of DOS like games should over 5 years ago. sorry for bad grammer. cya

  • Your arguments are mostly invalid because this happens everywhere, not only in games. And it randomly, not only when tapping quickly.

  • if i would jeark yop like this you would have a problem to. winmobile is optimised for one dot touch not whole finger. and even if you use the fimger gently just the tip it works fine. if you stick whole finger on force on the screen its not a one dot touch its like a hundret dot touch. and win mobile dont have multitouch like iPhone so it cent wirk alright if you dont know how to use it. X1 is not for an imbacil like you i guess.

  • You're wrong. It is impossible to calculate more than one point of touch on a resistive touch screen surface because the controller measures resistance between the two surface plates. This means that as soon as the two surfaces touch, a resistance is detected and the position is calculated. No matter how big the surface is (or how many points of contact there are), only ONE point can be calculated. This is done by the hardware. So the OS only gets one set of coordinates for one contact.

  • You know, it sucks less than you think.

  • really

    oh and btw dude

does this phone have a fast response to touch i mean not lagging i saw some videos of it Lagging so much .. so please tell me

    my cousin wanna buy this

  • The response seems fine to me. Not lagging, except when it's busy loading something or rotating the display.

  • dude its a windows mobile phone we all know they all suck and there are so much bugs in them lol ... i suggest to wait until N97 arrives

  • Hm.. Yesterday right after I did that video, I flashed my X1 with the newest official ROM (version 1.03.931.8 (dated 12/21/08)) from xda-devs, as the SEUS doesn't have it yet. Then, I installed a cab that shadowmike had made from the Hotfix for the Touch HD (see the video description for the link to XDA-Devs'es topic). After the soft reset, the problem hasn't (yet) surfaced (plus the system seems more responsive). I'm crossing my fingers :) . Check back for more info..

  • Re: Nope.. False alarm. It still happens. Though rarely..

  • Yup I get the same problem on my X1 with various roms. Try playing a game that needs repeatedly touching the screen, it is much more frequent in a game and very annoying.
