try to analyze the video and see how much you can remove of the 30 extra seconds. sometimes when movies go beyond the allotted time, they need to have scene cuts. if you can manage some clips, you should be fine.

Well the thing is we have 30 mins of video and need to cut it down to 90 secs, so idk how much more I can cut out without losing quality

hmm well go back to your story board and look at the video. is there any 30 clips that could get a few seconds cut off here and here or maybe a fade/transition that could be used that could help, or even a speed modifier to any parts to shorten it any. you have a week still, so you can break it down as much as you think can be done.
