The hotel restaruant's really expensive, and it's hard to find food in the mall across the street.
The restaruant under JC Penney (I think . . .) sucks, and is expensive.
There IS a Subway in the mall somewhere.
The mystical Walgreens we try to find in one of the videos is kind of lost, you're better off looking in downtown Chicago if you need to find one (aka. don't be me and forget your deodorant . . . The mall across the street only carried unscented for $28--i have a fragrance allergy)
Bring LOT'S of snacks! Redemption and I had to eat McDonalds pretty much the whole time or we would STARVE! I don't like the food in Chicago at all. That was my only problem.
Were going to the art institute, field museum, rain forest cafe were staying at the same hotel you guys did and were going to that mall across the street where also going to see Rent.
Whats Walgreens? and was the shopping really that expensive? Did you do any shopping their?

We did alot of shopping! Clothes and stuff wasn't that much more expensive than what we're used to. But food was!
Walgreens is just a pharmacy or drug store that sells basically everything.

Also McDonalds there is SERIOUSLY salty.

BTW, the hotel has FANTASTIC beds. No lie. They're ridiculously comfortable, and you can actually buy the mattresses online . . .

Enjoy your trip--I think Chicago is my favourite city I've travelled to so far! It's really vibrant and sort of has a culture all of its own.
