  • catch

  • too blury

  • Catch, out.

  • i do see its a good idea that there getting togather to make sure its right call i can't tell still with this crap video.

  • obviously a catch

  • that would b a catch my friend

  • trap

  • This isn't baseball... this is funball. They play it wit imaginary balls

  • i saw the ball out

  • @ThePinton20 yea i saw it to. he clearly caught it.

  • It Took A Short Hop Right Into His Glove. So Hes Safe.

  • trap

  • trap

  • its hard to tell but cagan is right the ump says hes out

  • He is out. The ump says so.

  • of course its a catch

  • me neither

  • close call

  • cant trap if he comes up in less than one second

  • catch

  • You cant even see the ball with this shitty camera

  • None of you can voice an opinion that matters unless you're able to see the invisible ball that no one else is able to see.

  • I'd have to say he picked it. Glove angle doesn't look like he could've trapped it, and there's no way it bounced... at least, to me.

  • catch i saw no hop people

  • AFTER FURTHER REVIEW:

THE RULLING ON THE FIELD STANDS

  • you can't see annything

  • safe

  • OOOOUUUUTTTTT XD

  • hard to see but it did look like a catch

  • he trapped the ball

  • i couldn't see it

  • thats a catch, watch full screen at 0:11

  • at full screen go to 0:12

  • If you dive and catch the ball in the air it is an out. So it is an out.

  • it short hopped u can barely see it but it did! safe safe safe!

  • it took the shortest hop i ever seen lol

  • out

    out

  • Either way, it's a judgement call. You can not argue judgement calls.

  • out.

  • i tried pausing at the spot and still couldnt see it

  • can't see

  • cant see

  • Out.

  • cant see the damn thing

  • catch definatly

  • He caught the ball

  • Can't see shit!

  • catch

  • cant tell. bad camera angle

  • whats a "TRAP"?

and whats the difference between a catch and a trap? Isnt it always a catch when the ball successfully lands and stays in the fielders glove after the ball was hit for an OUT?

  • @tatomuck18 a trap is when the ball hits the ground and enters the glove making it look like the player caught the ball in the air. they say trap because he traps the ball between his glove and the ground.

  • @tatomuck18 wat he maens by trap is the outfielder traped it in between the ground and his glove

  • can't tell

  • I couldn't tell the camera was to late onto moving to the play.

  • woow virgonnomic? the ball fell 6 inches short ccant even see the ball

  • Im going with catch

  • cant tell shit quality

  • idk it was close it looked like he caught it but the camera stinks

  • trap

  • The ball fell about 6 inches short. Not even close.

  • trap

  • Lol I

Paused it and he caught it in his glove

Before he even dived right call

    Over dramatic

  • pause at 0:11 you can see it go in glove on fly

  • hard to tell since the camera was shaking so much

  • trap a lak

  • uhh i cant tell so i have no answer

  • I think he scooped it up from the side.

  • its hard to say but his glove was facing up. Tough to trap the ball from there, so probably a catch

  • trap

  • What rabbid people it was a

    t

    tr

    tra

    trap

    trap !

  • out

  • Pause at :12 its a catch

  • it means the ball hits the ground and can't bounce because the glove is trapping it/ it means it bounced into the glove very quickly.

  • to the few people giving their opinion... You cant even see the "catch" or the "trap", so don't act like you can. I don't want to throw your opinion down, but in this kind of video, where you can't see anything till he is already getting back up, there is not an opinion besides "can't tell" that isn't stupid and pointless.

  • hard to determine! No clear view.

  • He gets points for coming up like he caught it, so....it's a catch.

  • looked like a short hop but the camera sucks

  • trap trap trap trap trap traptrap ttraprap trap

  • i couldnt even see the ball

  • @Yellowfeet47 same

  • @Yellowfeet47 me either where was the ball?

  • Next time, invest a few extra bucks and buy a camera that has the "stability" feature.

  • can't even tell the quality sucks

  • catch

  • trap

  • catch

  • Looked like he short-hopped it, but camera is horrible. Cant really tell from this video.

  • Horrible camera work...

    Catch.

  • Caught it

  • catch

  • nice camera work -.-

  • of course he caught it his glove was turned up it wouldnt have been able to bounce into it.

  • caught it

  • Its hard to see. It looked like the guy got his glove under the ball, but it also looked like he could have caught it off the bounce.

Both of the umpires were in the correct position, and that is the home plate umpires call. I'll trust him.

  • Catch.

  • nice catch

  • def. a catch

  • fake mlb... losers...

  • He caught it.

  • he didnt cath it

  • I couldnt even see

  • THE BALL DROPPED

  • wheres the ball

  • the quality is so bad you cant even see the ball

  • the position of the glove def. tells that he caught the ball. The back side of the glove is parallel to the ground. It looks like he traps it because he catches it/ falls on his glove at the same time. Clearly a basket catch.

  • i don't matter if he caught it or trapped it, they're always gonna give it to ya if its close and u come up with it

  • he trapped it.

  • Trap slow it down keep clicking pause and play it hits the ground a split second before he rolls over

  • idk the camera was shaking to much

  • let's make a deal. You show the ball and I'll make the call...

  • ok those of you who said its a trap can be judging by a slight optical illusion not saying you are incorrect neccessarily. Just not able to tell for sure. If I was forced to decide I would have to say catch.

  • well i would make a judgement if i could see the damn ball!

  • me too

  • I'm wondering why the Plate umpire was the one who made the call. The umpire in "A" should have gone out and made the call. Coming from 1st base he has a much better SIDE angle and can better determine if it's a short hop trap or a catch.

  • catch for sure there is a frame where u can see it going into his glove

    CATCH

  • nice play but a trap

  • I'll say this good acting on the CF though on showing that he caught it. Sometimes it's too close to call so the ump will go off your reaction. I guarantee you if CF jumped up really quick and threw the ball in he wouldn't say it was a catch. He held his glove up defiantly giving the idea that he made the catch no question.

  • if he threw the ball in doesn't that mean he pulled it from his glove? So the outcome of the call wouldn't be any different. He would want to throw it in quickly if someone had tagged up to advance a base which is very likely since he dove for it.

  • hes sayin bekuz if he got up quickly and threw it in he would think the umpire knew he did trap it... so he didnt want any one to advance... but showing the ball is usually an indicator that they did catch it and want to prove it... i think he caught it and if he didnt he did a great job selling it

  • i say it was a catch

  • i cant relly c it but i would of said it was a catch if i was the ump. if u look at it closely, its a trap

  • trap

  • it looked like he caught it to me

  • you can see it hit the ground its a trap

  • trap

  • No way of knowing. Framerate is too bad. For example, in the Phillies/Astros in 1980, there was a clearly trap play where the glove was in the "catch" position (I have no idea how he trapped it).

  • trapped the ball

  • trap

  • he catch the ball

  • pause at 11 seconds at the right time. u see the white ball go into the glove. out!

  • idk???

  • yo dumbasses pause t right when it turn 11 u can see the ball on the ground

  • it's definitely a catch because of the way his glove was angled the ball couldn't have touched the ground......catch

  • probably help if i could see the damn ball
