  • the album has 2 classic ballads & 5 top quality party tracks - much underrated LP. Best album, in my opinion.

  • This ones for you Ray. Love you always!

  • Marvin is playing that bass. may he rest in peace.

  • for that special woman.

  • Best Isleys Jam eva!Dis takes me back!

  • I literally listen to this one every single day. What a melodic bassline.

  • Thank you for uploading this. Wow - so many memories. Too bad music today, with the exception of Brutha and they are history as a group, is almost not worth listening to. Imagine if the Isley Brothers sang this song, and they had to pause for rap music to be added. What is wrong with young people today? I thank God I grew up around real music.

  • I JUST HAD YOUR LOVING BABY & I CAN'T LET GO...

  • ron is rare form on this one

  • FOR YOU CASSANDRA

  • their most classy song ever.....

  • Ice Cube Father on the bottom RIGHT! LOL!

  • @tedkay Wow, omg. There is a resemblance. Either way, both are handsome!

  • ...at 2:00, absolutely heavenly!

  • This song now applies to me i.e. "I once had your lovin baby" - well I did recently, with someone I'd wanted for ages (though it was illicit!) Now I can't let go.....

  • I LOVE DA F**K OUTTA THAT SONG..I WAS IN SCHOOL WHEN IT WAS OUT

  • One of my many favorite hits by the Isley Bros.

  • Trizi2007,You are never to young to love good music.

  • @thatdude1971 Amen to that hell, I bought the best of the Isley bros in the 6th grade back in '91 they looked at me like "youngster what you doin" lol

  • I might be too young to know about this but this is a good song

  • Im 21 years old...born in 89 and I Love this kind of music. This is REAL music....even tho im young my mama and my grandfather raised me on this type of music.

  • @Trizi2007 thats whats up...same here. im 20

  • @Trizi2007- i was born in 88, and i know more artists/songs of 70s music than ill ever know of today's music. its like as times keep going, the music just gets worse. nothing will ever be like the 70s and early 80s. best times of music.

  • @Trizi2007 I'm 25 born in 86 and I love REAL music too. I finally met Ron and Ernie last weekend! really cool guys. God has blessed them both.

  • This is what real music is.

    Classic.

  • There are very few acts you can go out and buy the album and enjoy from cover to cover...this group is amongst the best and they never cheated you in concert...I saw them perform at the Cincey Jazz festival during a horrible rain storm...i feel these two commodities define why they are timeless and relevant to this day...highest of complements to their artistic endeavors...

  • Absolutely magnificent!

  • ...you keep my whole world turnin...sure as heaven's above we found love....luv these isleys

  • This the cut

  • This the cut

  • This is my favorite.

  • WORK BABY!!!

  • In a taxi and hear this and had to find it.

  • This is when love songs were still love songs! This one is for the vault of lovers still left out here. Remembering riding in my Grandmothers Cadillac listening to this...:) now it's me and my kids rolling to it! Timeless.

  • One of the smoothest Isley tunes ever recorded and it sounds as good today as it did when it came out. ......There was a female vocalist who did a remake of this song sometime in 80's. Does anybody know who she is? It's been driving me crazy for a long time.

  • @eelfree Think it was peggy blue.

  • @maccag9 You are absolutely right. Thanks for allowing me to finally put this mystery to rest. I have that Peggi Blu album (Blu Blowin) on wax. Now I'll have to shuffle through about 3800 albums to find it but at least this time I know who I'm lookin for.. lol

    Thanks Again.

  • Instant repeat status from the first time it hit my eardrums :o)

  • Remembering

  • Love these guys to death. I miss the days when they were a band of six members.

  • My guys! Love them to death. R.I.P. Marvin!

  • ii learned tho words to this jam when i was 7 YEARS OLD.

  • Heaven, have MERCY!!!

  • love these brothers..their music will never die...

  • this is the smooth 2 step anthem

  • main this where its at jack can ya dig that this is music or should i say r&b real soul music the stuff that make ya feel all warm and good inside like ya mamas fresh butter biscuits

  • One of my favorite Isley songs, This song (to me) is sexy, airy and has an exotic feel (like in the islands) to it.

  • I think this song must play on your way up to the Gates of Heaven if you've lived a good life before your last day living on earth.

  • This is a love ultimate!!

  • Thank you Marvin Isley & O'Kelly Isley for your wonderful talents. May you both rest in peace.

  • @MrTitobrown wow..I knew about Marvin, but I didn't know about O'Kelly....RIP

  • @JDAVIS4LIFE O'Kelly died around 1986, about the time the Isley Brothers released their "Masterpiece" album. If you can find it, they had a little write up about his death in the liner notes for that particular album. I'm not sure if it's out of print though.

  • So so smooth, check the BASS in this song. "Once had your loving, Just had your lovin and I can't let. Everyday's a holiday, let's keep this love going. I love the lyrics

  • The legendary Isley Brothers at their finest. Much love and many thanks for putting this timeless tune, PB.

  • I've always loved the Isley Brothers, but as time progresses, I love them even more. Whenever I feel the need to be carried away and really listen to some real music, I know I can rely on the Isley Bros. I also appreciate the bros and sistahs who post these videos. Thank you and you are appreciated : )

  • "SMOOTH" defines the love making songs that the isley's make. masterpiece because it defines a what i go through in life to a love one......( my wife)

  • whose came first theirs or lee ritenour's????

  • @LOKEYJOKE: Isley Brothers came out with this first and Lee Ritenour's rendition came out in 1989 on the Color Rit album.

  • back in the day a female by the name of peggy blu made a remake of this song,it was nice.

  • I came nine months after my parents bought this album. Thanks, Isleys!

  • Bad bad bad men on the ballard scene.. they made u feel like every tune was yours and what u were going thru..
