Joe Jackson may not have been the best father, but I'm really happy that he pushed his kids to be the best that they can be. Part of the reason the Jacksons and Michael in particular enjoyed so much success was because of him...I'm just sad that he took it too far and caused so much damage to Michael...Fame comes at a cost though. Most of the celebrities we love are "broken" :(

@uyngaaa ...but thats the problem here:children love their parents UNCONDITIONALLY.Michaels father didn't show him the love he needed.He just practised&tormented him,called him "big nose" &made fun of his acne.Fatherly love was something Michael longed for his whole life,but he didn't get it. That's why he's such an awesome dad himself.He gave to his kids,what he never experienced by his "father",which is love&security.I think beeing a dad was like healing for MJ
