Underappreciated rapper for sure, but hey, some good news, he will have a new record out soon! I'm confident it'll be better than any hip-hop made today.
Skee lo is sell out. I heard some of the new stuff he's put out and his entire flow and message has changed. Too bad the I really enjoy his old albums.
Not only is the beat in this tune beautiful, but the lyrics are amazing
When you actually read the lyrics, it's like an actual poem, and it's a poem that almost all of us can relate to, us who aren't on top of the stairs, us who are still on the bottom, and there's not a single f word or n word dropped in the whole tune
some old school shit there, takes me back, the days of the hill, nwa where gone and hip hop was finding its second wind....................still waiting for it to find the third
why would I want to be down with the dude on the bottom?
and why would I care about the guy beneath?
if all I want is to be on top of the stars,
but hey!! I will never forget about the guys in the bottom or beneath because if I fall they should catch me, because.. every one wants to be down with the dude on top of the stars.
this is such a damn good song. i really hate the new kids that think they know how to rap. there is a difference between hitting random switches in fruity loops and real hiphop.
He somehow got eclipsed by these sorry ass losers who call themselves rappers now.People don't want real rap anymore. They want ignorance. It's as if thinkin hurts their heads or somethin.
exactly brother. thats a shame thinking hurts people's heads.its a sahme we have all those ignorant rappers. this beat sounds like it came off a sonic the hedghog game.but its sounds nice though.

Man, I remember this! It was on Money Train at the end of the credits. I like this track and the lyrics are phat.
I always played this song over and over on my DVD player at the end...loved this track so much, I didn't want it to end when the credits rolled.
