Tip: I put the finner part ligned with the last button (that shows after tucking in) so when you are finished the tie should be perfect ligned with the belt (that is the right position) and the finner part shoudn't appear.

That's a Four-in-Hand knot and it's the easiest knot for a tie. I like using Half-Windsor knot for a symmetrical, thicker knot.

My knots aren't usually crooked like that, you have to pay attention to be straight when you round the tie over the knot before bringing it between your collar and knot to finish it.

If I wasn't 100% straight looping around, I usually hold the loop as I snake the tie trough it and when I tighten the knot so it doesn't move.
