Ohh Jesus Christ. I live in Bremerton here in WA which is the closest hick central near Forks. We used to be so isolated, but after the first Twilight movie, during the summer and any other school break, we have little girls and their parents stationing themselves in Bremerton for the night. Damn man, I say I hate this kind of shit all the time! Nobody ever attacked me and that's the hilarious part because I attack it all... But they are psychotic, the people who just "like" it and except things. I could not care about Twilight. I also do my best to avoid any trend's fanbase. This one is so rabid that even I, who avoids trends and trendies, cannot avoid this.
Offhand I cannot think of any fanbase as pervasive, rabid, and annoying as this one.

I must admit that I do somewhat like the books BUT I do agree with the fact that there's a lot of holes and dumb shit in the story - you are absolutely right when you say VAMPIRES DON'T FUCKING SPARKLE. Lol. But the love story behind the book in my opinion is decent. Now a good series of vampire books - Interview with the vampire (and anything else by Ann Rice) A GREAT vampire movie - BLADE. Those don't even come close to Twilight IMO.

What I find interesting is that no Twilight fan I have ever come across can defend either books or movies intelligently. A person can give valid points as to why they are not good and the Twilight fan will usually reply "You die" or something along that line. I actually subjected myself to the torture of reading the novels so I could see what the fuss was about. I wish I hadn't is all that I can say at this time. It's not worthy of the title of saga and I fail to see how someone would like it.

Ohh Jesus Christ. I live in Bremerton here in WA which is the closest hick central near Forks. We used to be so isolated, but after the first Twilight movie, during the summer and any other school break, we have little girls and their parents stationing themselves in Bremerton for the night. The freeway has never been so crowded. What's there to do in Forks, anyway? there is NOTHING there. Fucking pisses me off.

I read all four books so I could state a valid opinion to the rabid fanbase.
The only good part out of all four books was the brief part in Breaking Dawn where it changed to Jacobs perspective, the writing was OK and it was funny.
That being said, I don't hate the books, I just LOATHE the fanbase.

The story was written AWEFULLY! There were so many grammer errors! It was supposed to be about ooo "forbidden love" and oooo god, but NO ONE REALLY CARES if Edward is a vampire! Edward totally controls Bella! That's clearly a sign from an abusive relationship.

i told her i didn't like the book, and she pushed me into a puddle of mud and pelted me with sand, rocks, sticks, and a brick and i got kicked in the gut and punched in the face..... i had to leave my school to go to another one and we had sued that girls parents for my hospital bill.....i had 2 fractured ribs, a broken nose, a concussion, a few cuts and bruises, and a broken tooth.
