Obama's new job bill is not expected to create that many new jobs from what I read yesterday. He wants to offer tax cuts to small businesses who hire. Alot of small businesses can't afford to hire new people cuz they aren't doing the business. So what's the purpose of a tax credit? Another waste of tax payer money. Perhaps he ough to do what Reagan did. Reagan got us out of the turmoil Carter left us in.

the unemployment rate in 1982 was 9.7% as well. If Reagan could cut the capital gains tax why couldn't Nobama. I know that he had to bail out AIG and some of the other financial institutions in order to prevent further disaster, but spending us into bankruptcy isn't helping. He promised unemployment wouldn't exceed 8% with the stimulus and look where it's been for the past year. Clinton also cut the capital gains tax and it worked.
