  • Since we don't have a board upstairs near the stairs, I can see a little door, It's even a little smaller than coralines door. I guess it's for the heater or any tubes. But if I go up the stairs when it's getting dark or maybe in the night I alwys have to look on that door and I wonder everytime, if I should open it, but in the end I am to scared and quickly go back to bed or switch on the light....

  • i love every single song from the coraline soundtrack! im not sure if it has its own CD. :)

  • Good luck to all the Oak Bay High dancers!! ;) :D

  • @thoughtless01ya oh my twitchy witchy girl, i think you are so nice, i give you bowls of porridge and i give you bowls of ice...creeeeaam.

i give you lots of kisses, i give you lots of hugs, but i never give you sandwiches with lice and worms and mung...beans. :)

  • Bruno Coulais did a great job, it's pretty freaky!!

  • ... ghost children song .....

  • i am your other mother,sally

  • @thoughtless01ya actually it's i give you lots of kisses and i give you lots of hugs. lol(?

  • @thoughtless01ya I think soo! haha i like that part

  • people think this is a halloween song its not its a movie to watch anytime, and i have watched it everyday once a day scince august 13th at my cousins birthday even tho i've seen it about 52 times(im not kidding) times when it first came out

  • This song is so creepy!

  • Such a great Halloween film!

  • You know, they threw the hand down the bottomless well. But the hand was falling at an angle, wasn't it? It would eventually bump into the side of the well, and then (like the spidery abomination it is), would climb back up.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't trust the cover they put over the hole to stop an evil spider-demon-sewing-hand.

  • @OrionoftheStar

Exactly. And this is why they crashed it with a stone.

  • @OrionoftheStar and it was tied up

  • Its a darn good thing Wybie saw Coraline during his usual night patrol on his bike during this scene. lol

  • Need 2nd movie MAN!

  • At 1:50 you can hear Coralines scream when the hand grabs her.I get goosebumps everytime I hear that scream,brrr...

  • The hand was a real hand in the book... Not just metal

  • @catfeathers101 I think both ways are creepy. On the one hand (no pun intended), the book version is scary because it's a real hand crawling around on very long fingernails, feeling its way around like a blind spider, and it's like it's serving the Other Mother. On the other,in the movie, it may not be a real hand, but it's made up of needles, and it can see Coraline as she's about to throw the key away, and it's almost like it IS the Other Mother.

  • Smash it! Smash that hand into powder. The hand is creepier than the Other Mother, at least that's what I think about it. The hand is small and can get everywhere so that you can't see it and get rid of it.

Thank you for uploading these songs! :)

  • "Oh, my twitchy witchy girl. I think you are so nice. I give you bowls of porridge. . . I give you bowls of ice. . . cream. . . I give you lots of hugs, I give you lots of kisses and I never give you sandwiches with grease and worms and mung beans. . ."

  • love this film to bloody bits :)

  • I love this film so much. I have heard RUMOURS of a sequel, (Something about an interview with Henry Selick) although unfortunatly its hard to get solid prove that they are making one, but if they do...

I am soooo going to be there. :D

  • Made me think of Harry Potter <3

  • I think this is one of the best soundtrack in the movie. Well, that means. after end credits. That is the best song in the whole world :3

  • i reallllllllllllllllly wanted to go to the movies to see it so i can hear the little kids scream..... i knw im evil like that......

  • My absolute favorite movie ever. I even like it better than Harry Potter. (that's really saying something b/c I'm one of those die-hard HP fans)

  • This movie was absolute genius. Nothing else to say.

  • @ZOINKSation you should read the book!

  • @Sherbeth91 There is book? Really??

  • @OtakuArashi16 yes I recently read it and I loved it, litteraly. I'm sure you will like it too!

  • @Sherbeth91 this is greatness, yes!

    i shall check out :)

  • Because there's no better way to show your love than with long spindly scratching hands.

  • Replying to my own comment.... Tim Burton has nothing to do with this movie... Still amazing!

  • Must say, this movie is absolutely amazing. I watched it before reading the book and I think that I enjoyed the movie a little more because of Tim Burton's creepy factor. Both are stunning.

  • When I saw the title, I thought, "SMASH IT! ARRRGH!"

xD It's a spider hand. What else can I think?

    Thank you for uploading these!

  • This song is so creepy.

  • I was told the cat was evil and then i saw it and im like they lied but still a good watch

  • This shows where coraline hides the key but then, what happens?

  • Never Accept A Doll From A Weird Kid That Stalks You Everytime You Get Out Of The House With A Random Talking Cat.

  • @melodymecklame and who talks to you with his head sideways

  • @leximay1 Ouuf Hes Cute And All But He Scares The Shit Outta Me. No Ofeence There.

  • Other Father was WAAAYYYYY creepier in the book, especially when Coraline finds him in the basement.

  • I love this movie, after I saw the movie I had to read the book and actually the character Wybie is a totally movie made up character. He's not even in the book, but I think I'm glad they added him.

  • @Bubbleiosity

The reason they added him was so that the main character wasn;t just sitting there talking to herself the whole movie. I suppose they did it so Coraline could be relatable.

  • did someone else notice that, in the end of the movie the garden of the real world looks like the other mother?? o_0

  • @delfi101010 Remember how in the other world, the garden was in shape of Coraline's face? Well, it didn't change in the real world, it just sort of stayed there. It's purposely supposed to look like a face. And if you pay close enough attention in the beginning when Coraline is playing around, the garden is shaped like her face even then.

  • @delfi101010 mind blown. mind freaking blown.

  • @QuinnFriendsAndYeah I know right. do you think they might have done it intentionally?

  • @delfi101010 they did :)

  • the movie would have been alot scarier if it was EXACTLY like the book cuz the part with mr. b was really freaky

  • Who knows a company that makes customised dolls?

    Please help :D

  • @TheMazzieCat As far as I know, I think MyTwinn dolls are the only customised dolls you can get.

  • @TheMazzieCat Have you looked into ABJD's? They're super-expensive though....

  • @TheMazzieCat amercican girl does

  • @TheMazzieCat american girl does

  • its like the ghost children theme with new add ons

  • I love this movie so much everything about it

  • This is what I call, a supernatural kind of song. The scary, unexplaneable sounds of music, All combined into one. Forming this theme= WONDERFUL

  • at the beggining it sounds just like a song that would come from harry potter lol

  • OKAY! who knows the name of the song they play like..before they even play the movie...when your on the main menu screen, It has those girls with the eerie voices singing..I love that one, But I can't find it D: please someone help me D':

  • @zerberry1447 I believe that one is called "End Credits" . . . if I'm thinking of the same one your talking about.

  • @lonelyshadetrickster yup, it is. thank you so much!(:

  • my cat just ran away from the computer.....lol

  • @TendancyToFloatAway LOL so funny

  • when i was in the theater watching the movie when coraline got the pearl the hand closed all of the sudden and i heard a *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!* lol and i was like *HOLY FUCK!!!* and i dropped my drink

  • At 2:11 it sounded like the hand was scared or trying to get away from Wybie. It sounded like a haunted merry-go-round at the begining too.

  • I never got to see the whole movie, but I want to rent it from somewhere and watch it!

  • wait, so in the movie, the doll that is at ther start is wybies auntie...and then the other mother turns it into a C☻raline doll?! O.O CREEPPYYYYYY...But awesome all the same.

  • @TheWolven12

Nope, the other mother was at the beginning, with her spider-like fingers. :)

  • @theonlysweetloverr Ahhh, okay, thanks alot. <3

  • @TheWolven12 yep.thats what happened...and if you listen closely to this song and wait....youll hear coraline screaming in it O_O

  • @lnvaderClay Oh yeah!!....O_O creepy...

  • i said to my brother when we watched it first time that when she was making her look for her parents in that one room i said "omg shes a spider"

  • To be honest,The other mother is the best villian, cause she teaches kids a lesson that they cant get everything that they want!

  • The Hand may be gone, but the other mother is still there...waiting...

  • @aurana6 behind a locked door without a key though.

  • @aurana6 hopefully, her next meal will be Justin Bieber:)

  • sounds like harry potter Lol xD

  • This must of been tha part where Coraline is lookin 4 a place 2 hide that key tha other mother's hand wuz lookin 4.

  • " your not sowing buttons into my eyes!"

"oh but we need a yes if you want to stay here"

  • I love the haunting melody of this song...

  • It's coming.... nearer and nearer. Stalking you. Watching you. Needing you.

  • I feel like the beginning to 0:40 could have been its own separate song and then the rest could be called "The Hand"...

  • The Beldam's hand is so cool, for one made of old sewing needles...

  • 2:06 - 2:41 gives me shivers everytime! Amazing...

  • The was creepier in the book. I mean, atleast it looked like a hand, not just a mess of needles. Still, I like that gimic. Makes you more weary of the Other Mother and what she might be.

  • creepy song lol and that movie is for kids i love it!

  • :o is soo cool and perfect ;)

  • I love Coraline.......I'm obsessed with it....the book and the movie.. XD I'm even creating a coraline doll too....

  • @xBLINDEDHEARTx wtf me too ¬¬ heheheh

  • @xBLINDEDHEARTx whaat no way! me too!!!

  • @xBLINDEDHEARTx im sewing a doll only it looks like me im planning to shoot my own little coraline thingy only its probably gonna be retarded.

  • @GreerRobertson no it's not gonna be retarded! X) my coraline doll -_- not done yet! having a hard time making it!

  • i love to listen to this soundtrack while going to sleep

  • I have to agree; alot of the film is left unexplained which I like, it adds to the supernatural theme.

  • @Shiek927 i liked that too, but i wouldv'e liked to know more about the well...

  • I remember little kids screaming in the theater when the Other mother created the spider web.

  • @DCombz y do little kids scream so much in the movie its not even scary

  • @Sobremaria1 Well, everybody has a different view of "scary." Beside, these are LITTLE kids. They scare easily at ANYTHING.

  • @MidnaTheBrave oh thx lol

    -Marzy

  • @DCombz lol

  • @DCombz my friend left the theater early cuz she was a scary cat!

  • I love how they never explain the Other Mother's backstory. It makes things flow much faster and makes it easy to make fanfics about it ^_^

  • I know! It's like in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movies, where I've always wanted to know who the Oompa Loompas were and where they came from but when they provided an explanation in the new one, it kind of ruined it for me.

  • Have you not read Charlie and the chocolate factory either? There's an explanation in there.

    Hi!

  • no, it's a good thing because it leaves more to add to the feel of the movie instead of explaining everything.

  • Shes more mysterious when we dont know very much about her

  • any1 notice the gohst chics mouth itz hella creepy

  • I love the soundtrack of this movie. I love basically anything creepy like this. O_O

  • ☻_☻

  • sounds like ghost childrens soundtrack

  • at 2:05 what instrument is playing? a banjo? i know it's a stringed instrument, but what stringed instrument?

  • Anyone ntice how the Other Mother's voice was when she screamed "I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!! DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" LIke there was a sort of sadness in all that desperation.

  • ohh ya tat freaked me out big time. :]

  • yeah.....poor deranged woman.

  • Of course the Other Mother was sad. And desperate.

She needed Coraline's soul in order to live. The way she becomes more and more deformed during the movie is a sign that she's dying while Coraline visits.

When Coraline escaped, the Beldam was on the virge of dying for good. She knew she needed a child's soul RIGHT then, so she screamed, "I can't live without you! DONT LEAVE ME!" She didn't want to die. So she was sad that she couldn't eat Coraline's soul.

  • Well, how do you know that she was on the verge of death? I mean, she looked fine to me, other than the creepiness....I thought that was normal for her.

Was that in the book? Man, I hate how I never read it! I mean, I always want to, but its lost, but when I find it by accident, I'm doing something else! Crazy, right?

  • i went on Bing and found out that each child the Other Mother ate provided her with 100 more years to live. So when she was winding the web for Coraline, she needed a child's soul because she was afraid of dying.

  • @PurpleMysticDew that is also why she seemed to get older and creepier the more the movie went on notice the cycle started when coraline began to refuse everything she told her to do when really she should be eating her

  • Read. The. Book. Hey, purplestorm! I didn't even know that was you!

    Read. The. Book.

    Read it!!!!

    AAAAAAAAH!!!!!!

  • The start fits well as the ghostchildren's reprise, not longer restless like ghosts, yet uneasy in the fact that Coraline's not out of the woods yet. It gives you a feel that the other mother couldn't be anymore like a spider (her hand). When the hand starts to drag Coraline, the nitemare seems to stir awake. Then there's the final showdown, the hand's fate met with a final THUD! And the ending tune did well with the image of 2 children tossing a bad memory into a well and out of their lives.

  • Scary when the camera zooms in on the pounding door with green light 0_0

  • sounds like the ghost children

  • Really eerie.

  • That part in the movie where the camera whips around the hallway and you see the little door, like, explodes with green stuff, is my favorite and least favorite part of the whole movie.

  • i like watching it in slowmo and seeing the layout of the land and stuff

  • Oh, my twitchy witchy girl

I think you are so nice

I give you bowls of porridge

And I give you bowls of ice

  • no its ice. RICE CREAM?!?! O.O

  • no it ice because it like oh my twitchy witchy girl i thing you are so nice i give you bowls of porridge and i give you bowls of ICE CREAM

  • You're obssesed?

    SO AM I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love Coraline! I have a magazine of it,the book, doll, movie but all I need is the soundtrack.

  • not yet. hehehe when i get to movie i will watch it 24/7 lolz!

  • If you read the book and listen to the music it gives you a creepy feeling....

  • I just got done watching this and it was awesome kinda reminds of how kids and teens are we're so ungrateful for what we have but we dnt notice until it's gone away

  • this song is pretty scary

  • Go Why-Where-You-Born!!

  • Yeah! Wybie kicks ass!

  • I'm not sure if they gave an explanation in the book, but I've made my own story of how the Other Mother was trapped in the house:

2 decades ago, there existed an evil witch who abducted children to suck their life and live forever. In the year 1859, a warlock came to the country and heard of the witch. He found the witch's residence, fought her, and sealed her away within a part of her house. He locked the magical door with a key, but using all his strength, died, unable to destroy the key.

  • I think the other father's song that he does on the piano was the improvement of the real father's song for her, the one with the ice cream?

  • haha, I thought the first fathers song was pretty good too, I later found myself singing it during the day :D

  • I did too, It's really catchy. :)

  • I love how Coraline sings the Real Father's version when she goes to dispose of the key :3

  • me too :D

  • I've watched that movie 3 days in a row. I love it!

  • haha, I feel like an idiot because I´ve watched it in a few weeks actually and that´s pretty scary

  • Ya! i thought that was awesome, too^^

  • THis song is eerie....

  • harry pottaah

  • @devilgracie noooooooooooo no offence, if it hurts ur feelings

  • when coraline steps into the other universe. so does your mind. in this movie your mind goes blank and all you can think about is the movie.

  • yeah watching the movie makes you feel disconnected with what's around you, cause the movie just sinks in your mind.
