BTW, did you read an article concerning how Homo Sapiens had a better sense of smell based on brain scans which indicated that their offactory and temporal lobes were at least 12% larger than those of the Neanderthal?
Doesn't seem add up to since the entire facial architecture is centered on a nose larger than any living primate, gorilla included. Their huge nasal openings were about as large as their eye sockets so then what could the purpose of such a large mid face and nose?
Saw a graph online from a Science website concerning the Chromosome 2 position and it's differences from us and other primates and a mouse.
What I found odd is how in the begining of the shown part of Chromosome 2 that all the primates/mammals listed, ( modern humans included), all have the same order which is
AAATTCCAATGGTG yet the Neanderthal did not.
It read (space), TTTTAATGGTG.......
What's up with that? Seems like the more we learn about these ancients, the weirder they get.
This video is old only 5 peoples gnomes where compared to Neanderthal and all Asians and Europeans have 1-4% neanderthal DNA, this means that most people are part Neanderthal and as they test more people they will find some people have an even higher percentage in them.
