Actually, I kicked the crap out of Ultimecia rather easily, although I took the time to level up fairly well, at almost LV 90...still, if you're looking to get her at lowest HP, by minimizing LV ups, just avoid combat thru-out the game and hold onto your Holy Wars and Hero Drinks, and also, keep a decent stock of Aura, that way you can (theoretically) be invincible for an extended amount of time while spamming Limit Breaks to finish the fight quickly.

I can't believe all the comments complaining this is techno or whatever... it's a metal REMIX. That means they took the original song, which featured all the techno parts, then mixed the metal in around it, it is most definitely metal. Go look up some symphonic metal if you're that set on arguing against it, you'll think twice then. All in all, great version :)

There's not a good contrast of music and the background static noise... It doesn't sound like anything to me :( It's a wonderful improvement over the black mage version, but I still prefer guitar covers other people have made to this highly synthesized version of an attempt to blast out ears.

well ultimecia is challenging bc if you dont lvl up your characters ever she's gonna be a pain in the ass just with hells judgement and meteor combination your screwed!

@Serenade64 She's not challenging at all, neither is the entire game, if you know how to get your hands on powerful magic to junction without levelling. Not to mention, level 1 or 100, Hells Judgement puts you at 1 HP, and meteor would end you either way.

@Serenade64 in ff8 your lvl doesnt even matter. if your a true ff8 fan you should know way better that as u lvl up so do monsters/bosses/etc.... and also this is bullshit. METAL is defined in heavy power guitar chords and awesome double-bassing. this is some techno piece of shit......

if you played the card game and got the gilgamesh card, you can mod it to get 100 holy wars , use them in battle and your party is invincible for a limited time. and its the only way you can beat omega too

@Serenade64 Wrong I'm afraid, in FF8 levelling up also levels up everything else because they experimented with a balancing system so the fights would always be challenging no matter what you went up against. Sadly it just made you feel like you weren't actually getting any stronger and made the whole level up system they had in place redundant. It's a good game, but levelling up would do nothing to make anything easier.

i'd say zeromus was tough because of his black hole-big bang move. negate bonuses followed by damage? a damaging combo. he was easy for me wierdly enough. i let everyone die apart from cecil and rosa. cecil-attack. rosa-cure4. repeat until mp drops low-elixir. boss dies. win
