Mindcrime is one of my favorite albums of all time. But I do want to point out the obvious. You don't need a drug that was made up to think there was mindcontrol going on to get a junkie to murder a couple of people for his dealer. They'll do it just fine under the influence of the very real drugs that plague us today and in reality have for hundreds of years now. Get a coke or heroine fiend dopesick enough of high enough and they'd probably murder their own parents. it's not a mystery.

Quality always came first for Queensryche in the 80's. Their music was similar to Rush; vocal and instrumental precision were way above their peers. Most of the 80's bands from this genre are laughable today, but Queensryche was really doing something different here. We're all fortunate that their body of work will live forever, in the digital world.
