@nomameswey777 There's a fine line between taste and quality. The tone in this is fuzzy and overly-distorted. It could be much more clear and professional sounding. It has nothing to do with taste. Taste-wise, it's a fair tone but it's way too distorted and digital.
@nomameswey777 uh no, because a tube sound is professional. that's why that's the sound of guitar you hear on 99% of records out there. you do realize digital and solid state tones are meant to try to simulate tube tones. it was meant for a cheaper alternative for the casual guitarist since not everyone can afford studio level gear. from a technical standpoint, it's better and sounds better. this doesn't mean digital tones can't be pushed to be near as good, but they aren't the real deal.
how are u getting the video to record with it in standalone, i cant get it to work with my webcam at all. im running direct, and open the guitar rig in standalone, then try to use any of my webcam stuff, the cam wont run, and im in the Line In on my PC. i cant enable Stereo Mixer, it just Squeals?

The tone is decent, though a bit too much gain for my liking and it still sounds digital... I wouldn't trade the mic'd sound I get with my set up for a Guitar Rig patch sounding like that anyway!
Also, it's better to play something you're comfortable playing so people can judge without playing mistakes getting in the way.
yeah i heard of garage band, is it for mac only or have they branched out to let on windows? id like to get garage band to see what all the hype is about

actually this comes with way better software so it depends how you look at it. I got recommended to buy this instead of the toneport and Im glad i did.
ow yeah, i have donwloaded the software, but in the beginning you can install you soundcard, but on good sound he has got a delay of 136ms, i just can't play with that horrible delay :( if i buy the kontrol, do i still have that delay? or is it that i just run my guitar through the standard soundcard of laptop ??
if i buy an external sound card, is the delay time gone too??
if i do less delay, for example 7ms, it keeps hacking a lot and i bearly hear something, that's why i must 136ms

Not bad man. Great squeelies and an awesome guitar. I actually have the same model. Anyways, you may want to drop the gain on your tone a little bit as it's kind of muddying up your sound. It makes a lot of the notes undistinguishable. Please dont take offense as i'm just trying to help a fellow guitarist. Not to mention it'll also help you're playing

Yea I totaly over played the laid to rest and totally fucked up some of the other riffs I was just improving. I just didnt feel like recording it over again cause it was a pain to sync with the video. Ill be making more vids with effects and shit.

hey man try installing a sofware called "asio4all"...google it, then put it as your sound card, it reduced my delay to 7ms =)

agreed. Kinda funny sounding. I think it's because you're not doing a vibrato on them. Or maybe you need lift them slower.

You need some sort of cable to plug your guitar in. Or you can use a device like f.eks m-audio fast track.

The best way to plug your guitar into your computer is using a Direct Box. Or a pre-amp with an Instrument/Line In.
