I love the original trilogy with a passion, 3 of the best movie ever made period. Episode 1 doesn't age very well, along with a lot of Episode II. Although the last half and hour makes it worth a few watches. Episode III is by far the best prequel, and ages very well. Even if Anakin whines like a bitch a lot and Natalie Portman & Ewan McGregor are given some pretty poor dialogue.

Many people don't like the entire Star Wars saga because they've never taken the time to really understand what it's all about. I know people who had to see episode 2 before they figured out that Anakin was to be Vader. No wonder they said they were confused. You definitely had to see the first 3 movies(Ep. 4,5,& 6), in order to understand the others. But, some folks just don't know how to think outside of anything tangible. They only understand what they can see.

prequels are the worst load of crap ever put together.... they make no sense! Who's the main character in episode #1 or episode #2? In episode 4 Obi-Wan tells Luke Anakin was a good friend, well how come they never got along! Obi Wan also tells Luke Anakin (Vader) was seduced by the dark side of the force, but how come from the beginning Anakin is portrayed as an angry guy never really being seduced.

Also, why add a prophecy that makes no sense and why add mediclorian count?

I remember being so psyched to see this movie, than I saw it, and I walked out of that theater a changed man, this movie completely redeemed all of the prequels for me, I was impressed. I almost flashed back to my childhood seeing A New Hope at my grandma's house for the first time. Props to George Lucas!

after seeing the re-releases of the original star wars in the mid 90s as a kid and watching the prequels as a teenager it was such as great feeling knowing i was watching the "last star wars movie" of the saga it made you feel like you were a part of something more like history :p
