when you rendered the video can you give me an idea of some of the settings you used? I always seem to have lots of grain when I render and I have an xa10.
This is a wonderfully shot film and the subject engaging and entertaining. I am trying to make my mind up between buying this or its slightly bigger brother the XF100 and am struggling to see the advantages of the XF100 codec over this especially when I see films of this quality produced on the XA10.

At last someone who know how to use Canon XA10 all the other footage I have seen has been soft with poor focusing and bad rendering. Love this video and the Lego to! Should be getting my XA10 in the next few days.

Great short movie. I my self was (and still) a huge Lego fan! And I think that Lego is the best toy ever made! Period!
I have a question about the Audio, did you use the built-in mic? Because the Audio was great in my opinion.
And I'm thinking about buying one, do you recommend me to do so or what?
Oh yeah, another question. How is it at low light situations?

Was the sound recorde on the camera through external mic or built in mics? Also did you use any lighting set up or just available light?

@TomHarper68 The sound was recorded with a Sennheiser ME64 shotgun mic attached to the XA10. The camera was about 4ft from him.
