There is really no solid way of knowing what is the truth and what is fiction when it comes to this kind of thing. There is no real way to PROVE they exist. The bible can't be used as evidence for or against, since no one has proven the bible as a reliable source outside of story telling, either.
The Bible is being "proven" more and more. Things in it are rediscovered all the time in archaeology. It also said the earth was round way before man proved it to himself. The Bible is probably more accurate than any book out there. But I do know in all the years of searching NO GHOST PHOTOS!
If you could give me sources to check that out, I'd be very interested. I don't support your thinking in "I'm right, you're wrong" but I'm still interested in investigating your view. I've only read about 3 cases where people have claimed to prove stories from the bible but they've already been proven false...so if you can provide completely proven stories, that would be great.

Yes, really; they can't give up their preconceived notions even when evidence is to the contrary or manage to twist the event into something that jives with those preconceived notions. I've seen it happen with many patients, people who I am not close to nor have an emotional investment in. And it happens very often. You learn from each experience. There is more out there than we can imagine. The last thing that I want to do is close my mind.
I believe the reason some spirits stay is because they have a reason they want to stay behind. Some people want to get back at others, some want to protect something close to them, some just want to stick around. That's my belief.

I was born & raised in Gettysburg, spent many days & evenings sitting atop Little Round Top, Big Round Top, Devil's Den, Culp's Hill, East Calvary Feild, Benner's Hill, & just about every nook & crannie in the battlefeild & never once did I even get the feeling there was anything more than just beautiful mother nature around me. These ghosts stories are for weakminded people who will believe anything.

Its white noise. The only reason you hear 'heaven' is because the subtitle says 'heaven'. If the subtitle said: 'Fart', then that's what you'd hear.

I believe in God and I most-definitely believe there's an afterlife of some sort but the way you dismiss the vast evidence that ghosts are real is kinda funny since you take the Bible at face value. My wife, mom and aunt experienced what is called the crisis apparition....many people have experienced it. So it's everyone's minds tricking them? That's your theory? Anyone who has worked in health care for any length of time who has worked with dying people can tell you that people often see dead friends & family for up to a year B4 they die (most of them them don't know that they are going to die). It happens too often to be just an delusion, especially for those not expected to die but even get well. Einstein proved that energy never disappears, it just changes form. No one can say with assurance that consciousness can't exist without a phys. body.

Says who? You? I just "love" it when people claim to be all-knowing. I know two people who were clinically dead for at least several minutes(one for an astounding five minutes) and they claimed it was the most peaceful and beautiful thing imaginable. Both had out-of-body experiences as they were looking down on themselves as the doctors worked frantically to revive them. They no longer fear death. I know ghosts exist since my home is haunted.

See, that's what I'm talking about...the all-knowing attitude. I don't have to prove anything to you. I know what everyone in our family has experienced. My wife received a phone call from her best friend two days AFTER she passed away...just letting her know that she was OK and no longer in any pain. One of my aunts got a visit from her older sister the day after she died..she appeared at the end of her bed and explained that she was OK.That same aunt came to my mom two weeks after she passed.

If Im wrong then the bible is wrong, so far its proven itself time and time again, angels can visit you but they dont need phones or ghoslty appearances, .these were harmless visits. so again I believe its self comforting minds. Your familys experience reinforces each other, you need an outsider to visit.

There is really no solid way of knowing what is the truth and what is fiction when it comes to this kind of thing. There is no real way to PROVE they exist. The bible can't be used as evidence for or against, since no one has proven the bible as a reliable source outside of story telling, either.

The Bible is being "proven" more and more. Things in it are rediscovered all the time in archaeology. It also said the earth was round way before man proved it to himself. The Bible is probably more accurate than any book out there. But I do know in all the years of searching NO GHOST PHOTOS!

I've only read about 3 cases where people have claimed to prove stories from the bible but they've already been proven false...so if you can provide completely proven stories, that would be great.

Yes, really; they can't give up their preconceived notions even when evidence is to the contrary or manage to twist the event into something that jives with those preconceived notions. I've seen it happen with many patients, people who I am not close to nor have an emotional investment in. And it happens very often. You learn from each experience. There is more out there than we can imagine. The last thing that I want to do is close my mind.

I believe the reason some spirits stay is because they have a reason they want to stay behind. Some people want to get back at others, some want to protect something close to them, some just want to stick around. That's my belief.

It also sounds like "I can't" to me as well. That would make sense from a Christian standpoint because they spirit is probably afraid to step in to the light and be judged by God. Interesting fact, 58,000 people died in the Vietnam war. At Gettysburg after three days there were around 51,000 casualties.

Its so weird, if all this stuff is real, it doesnt mean that our rules apply. Maybe its not as simple as 'walking to the light', there could be so many reasons for spirits being stuck here. As humans we know nothing about what happens when you die. The priest hasnt crossed over, maybe he doesnt even know why.

Dehhedted, I hate to break it to you but everybody has a soul or spirit, what ever you choose to call it. When you die, your soul will leave your body and wherever it goes is wherever it goes. If you don't believe in ghosts and the afterlife, I challenge you to pray to god in private and ask for the answer, I guarantee you god will tell you the truth. The answer will be yes, you do have a soul. If we didn't have a soul, than this life is completely pointless. This life is only temporary.

I was born & raised in Gettysburg, spent many days & evenings sitting atop Little Round Top, Big Round Top, Devil's Den, Culp's Hill, East Calvary Feild, Benner's Hill, & just about every nook & crannie in the battlefeild & never once did I even get the feeling there was anything more than just beautiful mother nature around me. These ghosts stories are for weakminded people who will believe anything.

My grandparents used to live in the outskirts of Knin(a city in Croatia).
My dad used to take me there during summer.
At night,we often wandered around an area that used to be an Italian military camp in WW2.
Now it's nothing more than a big grassy field where some rusty barb wire and fence remains can be found.
There are stories that a bunch of Serbs and commies were executed there.
And still I've never heard or seen anything strange.
