  • ah I get it, he wakes up from that ominous dream that gave a scary foretelling of his future with a girl he likes, and that girl showed up next to him meaning that he finally acquired her as a girlfriend, but is still happy which is why his cheeks turn red. And then we see a figure dropping an orb into the boys cup, and we see the same orb in the next scene as the moon, so we can assume that he felt like someone just gave him the moon.

  • This i your only vid you got on ur channel, and yet it is enuf to make it my favoite channel. :D

  • Alright alright ALRIGHT. Listen up all you faggots who are arguing on youtube, Mainstream fucking sucks. SIMPLE. People like shing02 or Big L, are the ones that are realer than anybody because they dont sell out. They do it for the hip hop, not the money. Sure money would help but I guarantee you that if you ask these underground artists what they do this for, Ill put my hand on my life they wont say for the money like lil wayne or some faggot autotuner would. STAY UNDERGROUND.

  • @xxxdylanstonexxx Dude, even Lil Wayne wouldn't say he was doing it for money, although he is. Shing02 is awesome.

  • @xxxdylanstonexxx hipster alert

  • This is incredible

  • I would like to make love to this song.

  • Why are you talking about Lupe on Shing02 video??

  • how the fuck did u guys ever compare Shing02 and Lupe?

Both different approach and style and both dope, plus I don't even need to write this properly with the right punctuation and all.

  • Lupe and Shing02 are BOTH great artists, no need to rank one over the other.

  • what album is this from?

  • I love the Giraffe so much. I wish i had giraffe watching over me

  • Perfect song

  • What album is this from please??

  • where would i be able to get this?

  • shing02 is so godlike

  • i wish i had an epic bike like that

  • i reckon that this is the best song by shing02

  • @NOdarkdevil nah.. he's got so many good songs its impossible to tell which is better.

  • @NOdarkdevil "Luv" is ..

  • haha the music is epic but the video is dope! the little dude grabbed his antenna put it on his thumb and used it as a pphone!!

  • I always prepare my mornings with this song :)

  • Sadly, not being nearly as good a poet as Shing02, I can't even explain how much I love this song.

  • I want love but I also want peace ... which is more important

  • I never felt so wanted

like a fugitive on a poster

    but you already had me

like a coaster on the bottom of a fine glass

    translucent the most

a reason to pass n' pour from a sealed bottle

we can crack shells like a pair of sea otters

    Damn he spit that...

  • Intellectual Eargasm.

  • This right here is som REAL HIP HOP!

  • dope beat.

  • Samurai Champloo's theme brought me here.

  • @DarkHumorist

Yeah a few years ago I did the same thing, opened me up to good hip-hop, my life forever changed, what about you?

  • Live. Laugh. Love Like Water.

  • i find it funny how mac miller and sam adams fans think their listening to underground rap but really they have no idea mac miller is no better than lil wayne its all about guys like shing02, madlib, mfdoom, immortal technique, aesop rock, grand puba, etc. those guys r real rappers :)

  • THIS IS SO FREAKY! the beginning of this song sounds omost just like the song by k'naan called dreamer thumbs up if u agree!

  • Lol 2:25 he is in iceland

  • 2012 likes

  • I just remembered this animation today. This is one of the very few hip-hop songs that I actually like.

  • @suaside10 you should give David Dallas a listen then! such a great new zealand rapper daviddallas.co.nz

  • WOLF GANG!!

    FREE EARL Um..

  • This whole song is flawless, sick beat and emotional lyrics. One of my favourite songs.

  • Art to some, life to others.

  • Comment removed

  • Rap is a product. Hip Hop is an art.

Mainstream is about selling products. Underground is about creating art.

    That simple.

  • @SeriuxFan

tell us something we didnt know

  • @SeriuxFan Nope. Hip hop is a lifestyle, composed of elements. Rapping, DJing(Producing), Graffiti, and BBoying/BGirling.

Underground is just able to capture the elements in its purest essence, instead of the watered down stuff you might hear somewhere else.

  • @SeriuxFan

    Rap isn't a genre.

    It's hip-hop and hip-hop only.

  • @noname010x Ehh Yez, rappers are rapping over Techno and Pop beats now, that ain't Hip Hop, Hip Hop is the music, Rap is the lyrics.

  • @happiglad rap =/= lyrics.

  • @SeriuxFan No generic rap is a product. Rap is a form of poetry. Hip Hop is a way of life. Hip Hop Rap is an art, underground or mainstream.

  • @TeephRhetoric rap is hiphop striped of its originality, and turned to a desire of materialistic wants....thts why rappers today only rap about money, cars, chains, etc....

  • @playpac No. Lupe Fiasco is a rapper and doesn't rap about that stuff. Shing02 is a rapper and doesn't rap about that stuff. Rap is something you do. It's like a tool. Hip Hop and Rap are two different things. Hip Hop is a way of life that can manifest itself into several forms of expression: bboying, graffiti, rapping, spoken word, etc. I really should post a video about this it seems a lot of people are confused. People like Shing02 are hip hop rappers. Gucci is just a generic rapper.

  • @SeriuxFan

Mainstream is about selling your soul.

    Underground is about finding one.

Jazz-hop is what human growth and intelligence is capable of when put under the stress of our existence.

  • @SeriuxFan very well said

  • @SeriuxFan The Unknown are the best bro, the known aren't.

  • @SeriuxFan you sound like a pretentious tard, its fucking preference. Honestly coming across as some passive aggressive elitist cunt, get over it. Eminem is mainstream and your telling me thats not art, alright some kind of hipster fag, if this was playing on the radio...what would this be called, shit because everyone knows about it and it isnt your special little find. Seriously anyone who makes these comments might as well listen to def people fucking, because no one as heard that before

  • @MrH347 shut up man seriously, everybody who listens to anything besides mainstream music will say the same... and it's true. For money and bitches you don't create great music, it ain't art. Everybody has atleast 1 mainstream song as exception that catches him/her. Eminem went full retard after setting a legacy and everybody should know that too. Eminem's music WAS good. Why are you bitching about facts. 90% listens to their music because friends listen to the same music...

  • @MrH347 Thats a pretty stupid thing to say. The essence of the underground is that the artist is allowed to pursue his own artistic vision rather than a large production company concerned with maximizing profit. It means they get to do things that are original and sure, they can be hit and miss. It hasn't got anything to do with others not knowing the music, honestly I would give so much to have soulful and poetic music on the radio rather than the large amount about the abuse of sex and money.

  • @MrH347 You CAN hear def people fucking. FAIL

  • @MrH347 I'd really like to hear your anecdote of how Eminem's music could ever be considered "art"; gangster rap is strictly corporate sound that's all for profit, and not any art based merit.

And no, not everybody knows of Shing02. Hardly.

  • @SeriuxFan so true bro' here's the difference between art and money.

  • @SeriuxFan Daedelus is mainstreamish in the electronic scene, try to tell em he isn't doing experimental stuff

  • @SeriuxFan shing is not underground.

  • @Fapple maybe but he's not mainstream at all

  • @Fapple he is deep underground

  • this is too amazing

  • so dope♪

  • Hip Hop is a culture formed by various arts, one of it is rap and you're hearing to a nice example of it.

  • For you 26 people who disliked this, let's see you do better.

  • This is just beautiful

    Presentation...check

    Creativity.....Check

    Style...check

    Beat...Check

    Real...Check

    Make sense...Check

    Do I like it...Check

IT pass with flying colors. Not many of today's music get checks and pass.

  • Dude! I really love this song! I wish everybody in the world would listen to it at least before they die. I'm going to start telling my friends about Shing02.

  • Hip Hop + True Love = Shing02

  • Really cool cartoon. The lyrics are touching. Great music. Nice clip.

  • this has a sick beat

  • I think it's more about getting on good terms with your ex.

  • "If we can't make love then we can always make peace, can't we?"

    :D ^ that's the truth right there

  • 50 cent and M&M wouldn't last 1 round against Shing02 & Nujabes

  • @DaphneLovesDerby17

yeeah they would, they just fell into gay ass fuckin mainstream.

  • @DaphneLovesDerby17 iono man eninem is on another level than shing02

  • @DaphneLovesDerby17 Nujabes wasn't a rapper. He made beats.

  • @mrcorrecttt

Nujabes wasn't making beats. He made art.

  • idk how many times ive watched this

  • from which album is this?

  • I want this to be played at my funeral

  • @twentysack20 i'm with ya on that man

  • The animation is cute.

  • Did you know that Shing02 & Nujabes were really close friends before Nujabes died. Shing02 was actually pretty devistated. R.I.P. Nujabes :(

  • I want to send this song to my ex. "If we cant make love, we can always make peace, cant we." Only person in the world I care to talk to yet can't.

  • LUPE FIASCO AND SHING02 epic combo

  • @kanyeeast81 shing02 is too good for lupe.

  • @1Manny93 As much as I like shing02 I gotta say I have no idea what would make you say something like that

  • @1Manny93 ...wrong. Lupe is lyrically above.

  • @mosdefali

If you think Lupe is lyrically above Shing02, stop disrespecting Hip Hop and listen to a different genre.

    Just another mainsteam rapper:

"Ya’ll know I'm the little homie Lupe, yes sir, who they

They yester, and I’m today, and tomorrow, hooray

    Can I get a hip-hip for the new K-I-N-G, nigga I-AM-HE

Got the game in the clutch like I am G"

    -Lupe Fiasco

  • @StefanDasbach G in that reference is a gun...lol the lyrics you just sent weren't bad...i dont know what your even referencing to if you think Lupe can't rap. He flows so much better than Shing. Shing doesn't flow very well, and the lyrics on here werent anything epic...don't turn this into a he sucks argument. I don't argue on here so I'm out.

  • @mosdefali "G in that reference is a gun..." No shit. Your Defense: 1. Lupe's lyrics "aren't bad." 2. He flows much better than Shing02 3. Shing02 doesn't flow very well 4. Shing02's lyrics [Love You Like Water] weren't anything epic 1. You're basically saying his lyrics are subpar but not bad... lol enough said. 2. False 3. False 4. False Please do everyone a favor and remove yourself from society.
  • @StefanDasbach Ignorance is bliss.

  • @mosdefali "... but stupidity is blessed."

  • Comment removed

  • @StefanDasbach Lol you're all opinionated. So am i, am I arguing your opinion? No, I'm arguing what you consider a fact. The only fact here that can be proven is that Lupe has achieved more fame and money, not saying that fame and fortune are everything in life, but that's as far is this 'debate" will go. Both are good, in my mind lupe is better. Go cry some where else, or stop comparing and enjoy music.

  • @mosdefali

You lost all respect when you claimed the reason you believe Lupe > Shing02 is because he has more fame and money. Go listen to more Gucci Mane; It's where you belong.

  • @StefanDasbach You aren't a very persuasive person and your arguments are flawed. In no way did i say he was better because of those things, i merely stated that those attributes have given him an upper hand in achieving success. Then again success cannot be defined by anyone, its defined by the person. Respect? From you? No thanks. This is youtube.

  • @mosdefali It's said you cannot even admit to the shame in your argument. Go listen to Gucci Mane.

  • @mosdefali By definition "success" is a pretty vague term. However, you'll find with most shing02 fans, we ain't even concerned with success. We are concerned about a message. Fame and Fortune ain't nothing but dust. Peace and Love brotha! Respect!

  • @mosdefali lupe is a sell out. watch his latest music video with trey songz.... fail.

  • @SonicMentality I wouldn't quite call him a sell out. Lasers was a decent, yet a complete 360 in what Lupe is really about. I don't want to listen to the song because i don't like RnB and and It'd be wasting my time.

  • @SonicMentality Lupe's record label forced him to make more radio friendly songs. It's not his fault. He hated the making of the album and was depressed and even suicidal over it.

  • Just a suggestion but if you like Shing02 you might like this guy Musashi...Check out his song 'Focus'

  • If you can't make LUH, we can always make peace can't we?

    Haha, I LUH it!

    <3

  • I wonder if the fruit of death is tasty....

  • @titox3h im pretty sure its like some sort of apple with a cancer in it and its all gross and black and festering inside with maggots, or its just some hot chick thats all bitchy

  • This is what music should sound like, not that crap they put on the radio these days :/
