Seriously man i don't understand how these itards are so delusional that they can not see the superiority of Nokia craftsmanship and how Maemo is really a pocket computer operating system that knocks the socks off of anything that has ever come into existence. I have owned a Nokia 810 and the build quality was beyond any comparable device i have ever seen. the N900 is ahead of its time and people just cant understand that. Maemo has been around since 2004.

@TeamBrownBox exactly, Nokias are THE BEST for Music, Camera, GPS, and the Symbian OS is one of the best and most stable OS out there (def. better than the iPhone OS). Plus, the upcoming Nokia N8 is gonna take out ALL the competition, including the expected iPhone 4G/HD. Coz its THE best music phone, THE BEST camera phone, THE BEST with maps and THE BEST OS with the release of the new S^3. Nokia FTW! :)

phone is lagging. big, stuttering, . this is FAIL. NOKIA keep throwing us gadgets tha deosnt work properly. Why nokia u fooling us? N97 was fail. this N900 is fail too.Go on E series E51 and E71 and E72 r awesome for an example .iam happy with my E71, tried N900 and cant like it. who i target market anyway? kids? punks? comon!

Lagging? You mean meanwhile it is running 8 applications at the same time in multitasking? With web pages open with full Flash 9.4?
My 2 years old laptop can't have same performances!

Gud stuff. I can only hope Maemo developes at a faster pace than Symbian, and this time Nokia actually opens up its ears to its consumers needs. They ARE making money making a wide range of low-ends and cheap 5800 rip-offs for developing countries, but face it - their high-end isnt even high-end anymore. Let's hope Maemo leads way to change that.

Maemo developer are the best developers around. they have mad thousands of free high quality application already. the N900 has Maemo 5! MEANING THERE WHERE A SHIT LOAD OF PREVIOUS VERSIONS. and what you think those app dont work on the N900 yes they do. and most are really really good. people just dont understand how to add software libraries to there N900's. i do because i had a N810. trust me Maemo is a Epic win. and within a year no one will even try to argue other wise.
