It is really the point of the first joke. The tragic footage of the plans colliding with the towers was replayed and recreated so many times that was bordering on being just some fascinatingly macabre entertainment.

This point really comes across when Cheney pops up and scolds Bush for not taking it seriously and treating the death of many innocents as mindless entertainment, and then goes "Hey, let's view it again from another angle!"
