  • EL NÚMERO 2 ES EL ESPAÑOL NO EL INGLÉS... COMO LENGUA MATERNA... PERO EL INGLÉS SIENDO EL IDIOMA MÁS FÁCIL PARA APRENDERLO QUIÉN NO LO HABLARÍA... SU LÉXICO ES MUY FÁCIL.

  • This video is only referring to native speakers of these tongues, not the total numbers speaking a particular language! English is the number one language spoken in the world as well as the most read! More English books are printed and sold than all the other languages combined! Stephan King makes more $ in India than in the USA! Why bc Indians are educated and learn English in school, and that is just one country! In Aviation English is spoken exclusively!!

  • Do you think any language will surpass mandarin chinese in total speakers? If so, which one? 那一个语言会超过普通话?

  • @shtdragon

Actually English as already surpassed all other languages if you consider those who speak English as a 2nd language! Few people out of China speak Mandarin but just about every educated person knows English! Spanish is rated #4 on this video; however, English it taught to every child in school. Same in the Filipino schools! Most Europeans speak English!

2º There is a language called hindi (it's the official language of India as well as English)

  • The most difficult language declared by Cambridge Scholars is Spanish due to its extensive and multiplying vocabulary.

  • @yandre20005 Sorry but Portuguese is more difficult than Spanish, where have you read that? (I'm not in a agressive mood, just curious where you've seen that)

  • All wrong - English by default is number one. Reasons why. The most overpopulated country in the world is China yes however there are more English speaking people in China than there is in Us and England together. India - 2nd largest overpopulated country 55% of them speak English. Then count the fact that many other nations have established English as their 2nd language for economic reasons, trade and world Diplomacy. The most difficult language declared by Cambridge Scholars is Spanish due t

  • English is number 1 you idiot. Indonesian is not a language. They speak malaya same as Malaysia. All Chinese people don't speak mandarin.

  • @ariyadream manderin is no1 (nearly 900 million)

  • @ariyadream we do speak mandarin.also we speak English if needed

  • @ariyadream wow here is Mr. knows everything. In their 3 Oath of the Young Men also known Sumpah Pemuda, They said "We are son and daugther Indonesia spoken in one language, Indonesian Language!". You doesnt know about this aren't you?

Who is the Idiot now? We watching your nation always claiming the other country inventory as yours, what a shame!

I am a transfer student to this small country, but i respect it.

  • From WIKIPEDIA : en.wikipedia[DOT]org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_number_of_native_speakers

  • Hebrew... Hebrew is the most spoken lang. in the world. Like: "Ma Nishma..."

  • @Lolomn mandarin IS chinese

  • 1 is Chinese 2 English

  • All i know is that English is the easiest to learn.

  • @AnaisAmaru : all languages are easy to learn as long as we spend time to learn it step by step. All of them are hard at first try, but once we get used to it, then we won't even remember when we start to speak them fluently in the first place. Watching foreign movie with subtitle always help.

  • Is based on how many countries speak it or the number of people that speak it

  • you're all wrong...maybe native speakers but English has about 1.5 Billion around the world...there are actually more L2 speakers in India and China alone than L1 speakers...what other language has that?

  • Number 1 is Arabic

  • Мандариииин^_^

  • Sorry wrong! First Mandarin 845 Million (from 1213 Million Chinese) second 340 Million Spanish third English 320 Million fourth Hindi/Urdu with 240 Million fifth Arabic 220 Million six Bengal seven Portuguese with 178 eight Russia 144 nine Japan with 122 ten German with 100 Million

  • hijo de mil puta español es el 3ero

    1.-Mandarin

    2.-Spanish

    3.-English

  • portugues is 6th .... u need to update this

  • English is the most spoken one. Definetely, no doubt at all!!!!

  • @sb100100 no it isnt no doubt at all (2nd language doesnt count)

  • Most "spoken" (!), not native. I'd guess almost 2 billion people on the world can speak english (more or less).

  • Portuguese :DDD

  • persian

  • english isn't a language.Its a european dialect

  • Turkish ??

  • oh, no all10times

    *leaves*

  • Cool, I'm fluent in 3 of these 10 languages!

  • 我爱中国,我拒绝youtube,我支持中国的一切。

    希望在未来更多的中国人能像我一样,拒绝英语,驱除鞑虏,强我中华!

  • @lanchurch So, what the fuck are you doing on the Internet?

Because o people like you, so many people hates China.

I am sure that have millions of friendly open minded Chinese people that thinks different of you.

  • @japan11march Well, anyway, this is your opinion. I am sorry for my words. Thinking better about, I regret of what I ve said.

I just forgot to respect your opinion.

But I still think that you should try to be friendly with people that asks you in English.

In this way you can introduce some basic words to them.

  • @japan11march

try France, or Chinese like me. I can speak English but I will not speak English to everyone. English is only for business, if you need to ask me anything else, get a mandarin translater.

If you are in a foreign country, better learn the local language and stop being an arse thinking English is better than the local language. the only English I can speak to a stranger is 'No English, Pls'

  • I think Bahasa Indonesia/Melayu is spoken by at least 280 Million people in Indonesia and Malaysia combined, so I believe should be rank no 5.

  • Comment removed

  • 1 Mandarin 1151 million speakers

    2 English 1000 million speakers

    3 Spanish 500 million speakers

    4 Hindi 490 million speakers

    5 Russian 277 million speakers

    6 Arabic 255 million speakers

    7 Portugues 240 million speakers

    8 Bengali 215 million speakers

    9 French 200 million speakers

    10 Indonasian 170 million speakers

  • @ashwinmssuv actually Indonesian/ Bahasa over 300 million speakers ! :D

  • Mandarin wins or English wins, it doesn't matter since I speak both of them fluently.

But still there are not any positions for me to say "who cares about the other languages?!". Only stupid and ignorant people say that.

There are around 6900 languages that have been discovered in the world, and they all should be equally respected.

  • English second? Well, that's suprising

  • @agentkingbadupadup there are a lot more spanish, hindi, and mandarin speakers than there are english speakers, so not much of a suprise to be honest...

  • @angodamango

Not really, I'm officially a bilingual, but I would consider myself a mandarin speaker only. English is only for business, Mandarin is for work, life and everything else. I would only speak English if I have to.

  • guys..stop with the bs. going by native speakers:

mandarin is easily first, with well over 800 million native

spanish is second, english is 3rd with only 1 million speakers seperating it and spanish

hindustani (pretty much combined hindi and urdu) has over 200 million native speakers, and hindi and urdu are almost impossible to tell apart, stop with the religious nationalist stuff

    then comes arabic then bengali

  • this is bullshit man.all this is wrong.stop guessing!!delete this video!!

  • CHINA HAS 1.3 BILLION PEOPLE. BUT YOU ARE FORGETTING THE FACT THAT CHINESE DOESN'T NECESSARILY COME FROM CHINA, IT CONSIST OF TAIWAN, HONG KONG, SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, BLA BLA BLA ALL OVER THE WORLD. SO MANDARIN IS STILL THE MOST SPOKEN IN THE WORLD.

  • ENGLISH SUCKERS!!!

  • Hindi is spoken only in 4 states of North India and that too among Hindus. The language of North Indian muslims & some other parts of India are mostly Urdu. Urdu has more of Persian/Arabic words where as Hindi more of sanskrit. In this way, Hindi is spoken by around 250 million people where as Urdu as a mother toungue itself is spoken by around 450 million or more(Indo-Pak).

  • @AZADKHANUP Living in London I ve learned some Punjabi... "Tu si tuti me ma choda".

I know that are bad words, but it is the only things I can remember.

  • @japan11march, This is what a sardarji is specialized in "Tu si tuti me ma choda".

  • @AZADKHANUP

Three Sardars were going on a scooter. Traffic police showed them his hand. One of the Sardars told: We are already three, sorry, there is no space

  • Indonesian is not a languages. u dumb ass .

    do your home homework

  • @jack85 indonesian is a language, we use it here :/

  • @jack85 Indonesian is a language !! Check our page on WIkipedia kid.

  • i think chinese could easily be the most spoken first laguage for people

but english must be the most spoken language because everyone could speak it its just so easy to learn : /

  • i can speak 2nd & 3rd.

  • @purelego me too ;)

  • WOOHOO! GO CHINA!!!

  • Amusing!!

    1. Mandarin (Chinese)

    2. Spanish

    3. English

    4. Bahasa (Include Indonesian & Malaysian dialects)

    5. Hindi

  • @firdakus93 portuguese is the 4 most spoken.

  • @DiogoBailao I respect to your opinion, but Bahasa is more 300 million speakers, sir.

    Indonesia: 250 million

    Malaysia: 28 million

    East Timor: 1 million

    Singapore: 0,7 million

    Brunei: 0,4 million

also native speakers in South Thailand, South Philippines, Christmas and Cocos Island (Australia), and immigrants in Hongkong, Taiwan, Srilanka, Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Holland, Suriname, South Africa.

  • @firdakus93 what? did you count them? lol.

  • @RickyTVproductions Nope!! I just thought (based on census).

  • @firdakus93 you forgot SUPER timor!!

  • @firdakus93 there isn't a language called Hindi you uneducated bigot. There is a language called Urdu and its the most common language in India but in India there are more than several hundreds languages spoken by various clans and ethnic groups

  • @MrDenocan owh...yeah thank u sir to let me know. I dont know it, I dont know under rank 4.

  • @hotboyclarence : quote from Russell Peter "It's BURITO!!"

  • @hotboyclarence I just gave my opinion here. I told you...Bahasa or Malay or Indonesian or Malaysian, that's the same language. Difference only in dialects. ^^

  • @firdakus93 well..... im indonesian :3 i also can speak malay~ but i think malaysian and indonesian language has different language and dialects! like example in indonesian we call student: murid. but in malay they call it: budak

  • @pichubright Greetings. :)

Hello there. I think when someone speaks malay, over all you able to be understand. Malay and Indonesian like British English and American English.

so in Malay also call student is murid, budak = child like some places in Indonesia use budak.

  • @firdakus93 i agree with you..i'm sumatrans..and this language (bahasa indonesia) came from malay culture of sumatra (Riau)..so not really different..

  • @lagodaxnian salam kenal :)

    terima kasih

  • @pichubright Slm Knal :)

sy kira kita dpt mngerti ktika sesorang bicara bhs melayu, krn bhs melayu & bhs indo, berasal dr bhs melayu riau sperti bhs inggris british & inggris amerika.

  • @pichubright Oops, carefull with your words. Budak in Indonesian mean "Slave", of course student are not slave. But Murid can be mean "Disciple" which sounds more polite.

Most different in this language is the structure of the sentence, in Indonesian Subject, predicate and object, but i dont think so with malayan.

  • @firdakus93 No, i dont think Malay & Indonesian are same language. In some case when indonesian talk to the malaysian it have different meaning can be polite or impolite.

I would say: "they just have the same word but have different in meaning".

  • @firdakus93 Bahasa is mean "Language" if you translate it to English, it doesn't refer to which country it was. English of course refer to the England.

I don't think Bahasa is fit for name of Malaysian language, what is fit and always spoken in malaysia it self is "Malay" does it.

  • @4712030two I agree Bahasa means Language in english, and some words between indonesian & malay have different means. but i never have think indonesian & malay are different language, cuz over all i able to be understand when the one who speak malay.

if any different, easily you able to be understand. :)

  • O quê? Português em 8º? Que critérios foram aqui considerados?

  • @Aalvafaust mesmo....

  • @Aalvafaust Segundo um estudo de março de 2010, português está em 4º, não em 8º -.-

  • Sanskrit is the oldest language in the world...

it's called the mother of all languages!!

  • @Smitalovesyoga It might be the best language, but it not the oldest. Might be the oldest among languages still spoken by tiny populations. No, it is not the mother of all languages. Sanskrit, along with the iranian and european languages came from a common aryan language so it can't be the first. Sanskrit is too complicated to be the first. You should do some research on languages before listening to babas who speak to glorify everything indian.
