@myjsallday44 thanks so much! i really appreciate it! and i stopped cause i just figured it was good place to cut it at the time, but i probably should've just done the last little bit now that i re-watch it. and i'm not sure if i can devote the time to putting together a tab for the whole solo. do you have a specific part you have trouble with? if you do i could probably do that for you. the thing is, i dont really play by tabs; i used my ear for this

Have you seen anyone else on youtube with a cover of this solo? Not like its necessary, that one was plenty good enough

@ripstick91 thanks man! and yea i learned it by ear, i've stopped using tabs a while ago just cause of how inaccurate they are, plus the ear training helps. and no i havent seen a video of anyone else playing this solo, but if there is i would really wanna see it. thats part of the reason i uploaded this in the first place; just cause i didnt find anyone else playing it on youtube

thanks man, and i may if i have any spare time, but if you want to try and learn it from the cd, mayer is basically using g major/minor pentatonic scales. hope that helps!
