  • What program are you using to record the desktop? I haven't been able to find any that work this well.

  • the other application on ubuntu is called drapes , i've used it , wasn't impressed at all . will try wallpaper tray , thank you for the tutorial . Keep up the good work . linux ftw

    I recently downloaded Wally (using Windows XP) but it isn't quite working for me. I've set up a series of walls to use but it isn't showing me any of them when I tell it to play.

    Is there something obvious I forgot to do? Something I need to set in desktop properties perhaps?

  • Right click on the Desktop and click on Change Desktop Background and go to the last tab "Visual Effects" and select Either Normal or Extra

  • I think wallpaper-tray is now part of the default panel application list since Ibex.
