@Toryonline hi Tory...do u know any guy who can teach liuhebafa in taiwan. Would appreciate it very much if u can give me a clue about it. Thx in advance. Romie in Germany.
The body does'nt start and stop together, the force isnt rooted in the feet and there are no expressions of the method bone, I bet this guy delivers a strike force of a 150 lbs per sq. inch. flowery flicks and embrodery kicks. internal is about intention, liu he ba fa still uses the same michanics as boxing to strike it just focuses on more core fution and dynamic balance.. and I agree Choi has got it, or a version of it. Many expression are posible within the same priciples
Hi Royal(US), interested to share your knowledge of LHBF? I believed you are practicing LHBF under Master Liang or ! Would you like to share your video clip on LHBF? Awaiting to explore....
I have a freind who does the style. Liang's is Wushu, not the actual style. The body mechanics are very specific, and the defining aspect of this style.
here is a clip of the current standard bearer. Look close at how he moves his spine, and how EVERYTHING moves in unison as one unit.
Search wai Lun Choi. You will find a clip of him performing the 2nd half of the Long Form. That is how it is supposed to be done. look really close and watch how all him moevment is in unison, and driven from the core body. look especially at the spine, and then compare back to this clip and you will see what i mean.
I agree with the important of Core Body Muscle that leads the internal force of energy. I found that Mr Wai cervical spine and thorasic spine is not aligned.
May be due to his old age or at the time the vedio was taken. China HuaYue XinYi LHBA will organise an int'l assemly to celebrate the 120 birthday of the late Grand Master WuYiHui of LHBF on 29 Nov 07, will forward if you are interested. Cheers!
G-master Liang has a different LHBF lineage, but I think it is traditional. Moreover I have never heard about a wushu LHBF style... But if U have more info, they're welcome...
Go and look for GrandMasterZhouShuSheng in Guangxi. he is China most qualified LHBF expert.

Well, pretty good peformance after all. For beginner & advanced level this clip is an excellent referencing material.
However, if you really spent years in Internal art, will you feel the same like me, sth wrong but it LOOKs just great, sth important not inside.
Briefly speaking, to be a true Internal art MASTER he still have a final lesson to learn.
The problem he may face is no REAL MASTER would teach other "master" it.

This person has no liuhebafa body mechanics, without the 6 harmonies and the 8 methods it is not liuhebafa. This is what the style should look like:

I really don't see the body mechancis that LHBF is supposed to have. This guy moves like a good Tai Chi player, but not LHBF.
