I pity everyone who have never given this game's combat system a try. Personally, I love this combat system more than the combat system in KH, KH2, and 358/2. It takes strategy, quick decision making, and long term decision making on how you level up. Not to mention,the card duels with Organization XIII are heart pounding. The story is phenomenal. The only thing I don't like about this game are the Disney tie-ins, but no escaping that from any KH title :\
Since I have nothing better to do I decided to watch the playthrough for this 'cause I was curious. The first KH game I every played was KH Days but I only made to Day 324 because the game was so sad. That's why after this I'm going to watch the playthrough of Days from day 324. :) I only own KHII but later in March after I get a PSP, KH BBS and Re:coded are on my list. The only two I may never own are Kingdom Heart itself and Re:Chain of Memories/

This game brings back so many memories of the 1st kingdom hearts. Funny thing is I never bought this game because one the card system looks awful and secondly, I thought it was a repeat of the first KH game and square Enix and Disney were trying to rip ppl off. I'm seeing now that its not and was VERY important to the KH2 story line. @BieberBabe13x At the time, they wanted to do a handheld KH game, and GBA was the only one around. Then, also, for Days (and later Re:coded), they saw things in the DS they liked better than the PSP for what they wanted. (I, for one, bless them for doing the simplest, most logical thing to do with the DS' second screen: Big Minimap.)
I agree, all on one console WOULD be easier, but we'd get the games way slower in the end, and they'd be very limited. Handhelds are fun, too, remember.

@TheFun41 not really cuz you the panelsystem is more focused on equipping your character (with different abilities and weapons) as for the cardsystem is focused on combat wich makes the combat a bit more strategic than the one in 358/2 days but that doesnt mean chain of memories is better though

You seemed to have one issue with most of the battles. When attacking the Red Nocturnes and the Blue Rhapsodys, you keep using your Slide Dash sleight on them. Trouble is, the Sliding Dash doesn't work on them 77% of the time. Only way it works, really, is if you pull them to the ground. Just some friendly advice, if you haven't already gotten it.
This game kinda reminds me of the Tales and Final Fantasy games were you had to run into monsters in order to fight them. Believe me its not often that they do this in every video game around the world.

The battle system for this game I found was illogical. I would understand if they made this game , one with cards, and one with a battle system similar to kh1/kh2. But that wouldn't really make sense, now would it?

it does happen. no matter how you set up your deck the cards will run out eventually. you should not have to "reload" to be able to hit again. the fight system for this game is terrible. but it's still KH so is therefore awesome.

a bit in kh1 and kh2 but since you have limited attacks in chain of memories and you may have been planning a sleigh in the middle of attack combos so you have to be careful so no its not a button smasher to attack in the game

it's called creating sleights. this game isn't at all as difficult as some people say it is. and no offense to this guy, but he's not playing very well. if you do nothing but use sleights, you use up your cards and then don't have any since the first one you stock in a sleight becomes unreloadable.
about what? the release date? yeah. just go to Google and put in "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days release date" and you'll find it. I saw it on IGN first. Wikipedia's got it too.

The gameplay looks tedious because the player decides to attack every NPC or salvageable object making stage look more lengthy than it actually is.
I like the difference in battle system. They tried to be innovative and give the setting you're playing in some concept you can actually feel.

i know!!!! in kingdom hearts 2 and kingdom hearts 1 u had unlimited hits and stuff but i was like well thats stupid! they mustve like the idea for the first one and went with that instead maybe this was just a trial to see if people would complain about it.

i meant before you reload. the point is you have to reload your stupid cards to be able to attack again. that's why it's so retarded.

it does happen. no matter how you set up your deck the cards will run out eventually. you should not have to "reload" to be able to hit again. the fight system for this game is terrible. but it's still KH so is therefore awesome.

no you jsut use the normal keyblade but you have cards of other keyblades with diffrent attacks stats and swing speed.

a bit in kh1 and kh2 but since you have limited attacks in chain of memories and you may have been planning a sleigh in the middle of attack combos so you have to be careful so no its not a button smasher to attack in the game

easy mode is a breeze. but once you start going through the game, it gets ALOT harder. so don't let the beginning fool you. xD.

it's called creating sleights. this game isn't at all as difficult as some people say it is. and no offense to this guy, but he's not playing very well. if you do nothing but use sleights, you use up your cards and then don't have any since the first one you stock in a sleight becomes unreloadable.

yes, you use the kingdom key throughout the whole game... the cards are the only ones in which you can receive different key blades yknow:
oathkeeper
spellbinder
rumbling rose and so on... hope that makes sence
