wow...this look is so beautiful...the video cuts off for a minute when you finish the twist, and are using the clear elastic to secure...I am confused about that part...did you secure the entire twist, or just the top section...and the part after, when you take the top section of the back, and secure with bobby pins, did you just push the hair up to create volume at the crown, or did you use an elastic to make a ponytail first? thanks for making these videos

@greentwinkle With thick hair, it's especially good to curl and then use a little of something like wax, spray or something to give it structure before you start your updo. That helps with my thick hair anyways! :)

@TheMoreaufamily That's just the type of hair that I've got - thin and straight. It likes to stick to my head to the point that it doesn't ever get frizzy. It actually goes flat and I have to texturize to get some volume :)
