Just heard this on Top Gear for the thing shot in Belfast and reminded me how great it was. Plus glad you think it's 1979, to me it sums up the 70s well and I don't like it registered as a 1980 film.
The whole of the soundtrack is just so very brilliant. If you ever come across the original soundtrack album from the eighties....grab it. Impossible to find.
The original soundtrack LP from the 80's is hard to find and is worth in the high tens. The soundtrack was issued also a few years ago with the special DVD edition. Everything about this film is quality. The Best.

Movies like this tend to be complimented by terrific pieces of music. "Payroll" from the early sixties has a terrific score too.
