  • Amazing horn on 192!

  • Well done and wonderful location shooting. So glad Youtube recommended this video!

  • @jfybby2 Thanks, it was a great day chasing the train.

  • Incredible video!! Nice locations, and good pacing views.

  • i was up to soldier summit just the other day did not see any trains though (damn) but i guess thats because it was a sunday

  • Probably, they don't run to much over there on the weekend. The Zephyrs do pass through daliy though.

  • Somehow I missed this one! Awesome video, Alex! Love the scenery!

  • Thanks, it was great I finally had a good P42 leading (NOT 66 type).

  • Ha, yeah, I know. A lot of them suck now..

  • That first view is one of my favorites with the train coming around the big bluff on that sweeping curve!! In fact lots of beautiful locations here!! Do the tunnels at 4:30 have a name? Awesome video!!

  • Larry- I don't beleive those tunnesl have a name. There are more than one lcation that have tunnels exactly like that in the canyon. Thanks.

  • Rackin up the miles dooood... Great vid!

  • I googled how far was chased this one guy...488 miles LOL Thanks.

  • wasting alot of money on gas to really only put together a youtube video. well, go broke for all I care, this is the shit!

  • Ok, now your just saying stupid BS. When I rode the Zephyr last year I really wanted to get shots here, because it is such a cool place. Just because you don't go out anymore doesn't mean you have to throw crap out there for no good reason.

  • I was trying to say waste all the gas you want, this is a great video.....

and I do get around. you will be surprised when I get around to uploading. Im higher up north than your ass right now, so watchout! lol

  • LOL, get on AIM and explain yourself

  • ***** Awesome Fantastic ***** So much different than what I'm used to seeing. Great job.

  • did u even sleep on this trip?

  • LOL, this same Zephyr was all on the same day. We started at Moffat and ended the day in SLC (Salt Lake City, UT). Google those points and you'll see how far we drove that day LOL.

  • but if it was on time you would have had to beat it to slc, sleep, then beat it again to soldier summit, thats pretty hard, but i havent tryed it so i dont kno for sure :-)

  • It was like 20 mins late I think. Here's how the chase went: Moffat, Fraser, Byers Canyon, Glenwood Springs, Cisco, Solider Summit, etc. Soldier Summit takes place before the train arrives into SLC if it is westbound #5. First shot at West Portal was at 8:49 A.M. that morning, as these all take place around 6 P.M. on the same day. We really ended our chase at Provo, UT...making it a grand total of 476 miles of the same train LOL

  • LOL

  • great video, good job Alex

  • Thanks.

  • Excellent shots Alex!

  • Thanks.

  • Nice shots cut together well. Such great trainwatching sites. Thanks for tripod and lack of zooming. Other Youtubers could take lessons from you.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • Wow, this is just awesome. Really nice video, Alex. Those locations are amazing

  • Thanks, it was our first time there, and I must say. It is one of the greatest places to watch a train, and one of the easiest to chase one too.
