I wish people would just stop and take a moment and read the earlier posts as well as to listen to the song's meaning and be reminded of those who spent most of their lives bringing this country and its people to its well-deserved democratic state instead of posting irrelevant comments about the artists who sang this version of this very inspirational song. Lahat po sila may mga napatunayan na and lahat sila nagbigay ng parangal sa lahing Pilipino.

pakinggan mo yung original song rendition nila nung 1986, malalaman mo na walang pagbabago o ipinasok na bagong lyrics. Nakahalukipkip siya dahil gaya ng dati, humble siya at ang pagkanta na ito ay para sa pagpupugay sa dating pangulong Corazon Aquino at para sa Sambayanang Pilipino sa pangkahalatan. Kung pagkanta lang naman ang paguusapan alam naman ng lahat kung saan ang lugar ni Regine. yun lang po.

I don't think Regine added any new lyrics to the song. She only sang two solo lines for this number, "magsama-sama tayo ikaw at ako" at 1:47 and "ito'y lagi nating tatandaan" at 2:38 which are all found in the original 1986 version of this song.

I suggest that this song be made as the "secondary Philippine National Anthem". By just hearing this song makes me more proud as a Filipino.

i was born a month after people power 1 happen. i dont know what exactly happened but i see and feel how the people power change everything for usfor us new generation.

thank you to Ninoy and Cory Aquino for giving us hope and light in the most darkest hours of our life.

Habang napapakinggan ko itong kantang to nitong mga nakaraan araw (dahil nung 1986 ay wala pa akong muwang), naaalala ko ang nasabi ni Freddie Aguilar na napaka ganda ng wikang Pilipino.

ang sarap pala talagang maging Pinoy. I was five yrs old then when people power 1 happened in the history the Philippines. I was alone in our house but i was very much aware of what was happening. "Handog ng Pilipino sa mundo" and "magkaisa" really makes me cry at nakakapangilabot talaga because of freedom, truth, and peace to all Filipinos brought by our Mother of democracy Pres. Cory Aquino. RIP  and thank you Tita Cory.
