It's kind of misleading to just call the attack an airstrike. There were multiple airstrikes but it was part of an actual ground battle our troops got into with the Pakistani military on the pak-afghan border. Supposedly mistaking them for Taliban or Al Qaeda fighters or something. These guys are supposed to be our allies in this fight and we shot up their border post killing 24 of their soldiers. That's a pretty serious error.
