Thanks for posting this - discovered this while I was trying to find reviews of this release. To me it seems like the new version is less harsh sounding then the original. Have you compared it with the more poppy-sounding Japanese remaster that was re-released in the early 90s yet?

It's certainly sufficiently different that I can justify buying it and making up my own mind on a proper system.

I liked the original by absolute miles, the mobile fidelity sounded washed out, loudspeaker more life in the original. What did you think was best mate?
