  • you'll probably think something's going wrong with me, but i really loved this game when i was a child... and still now.

  • wow I must dl this soon and give it a go. I think this game was the inspiration for the world famous Turrican series on the Amiga.

  • 1-cc'ed this game on arcades, took me some time thou.

  • I found a weakness in the programming that allowed me to play for almost infinity. I think my high score was around 7 million, about 5 million above the world record.

The last boss can be killed, but if you do kill him your score doesn't make the high game board and you don't get to put in your initials. I usually let him kill me so I could claim high score.

  • i finally played this last night and after playing this i have to say that this is an extremley underrated game.this game is sick

  • This was so ahead of its time. Those men with lightsabers were a pain in the backside, though.

  • THIS GAME WAS RIDICULOUS! Now that I have an x-tra Xbox controller sitting around I will have to play some Emulated games

  • @Nastrodamus

For you will be ridiculous, but for those who have lived like me is one of the best arcade games of the 80s.

  • @MamePlayer - I think you misunderstood me. Ridiculous as in AWESOME! I played this game when it was in arcade and could never get past the Saturn board (well maybe 1 time). I am NOW checking out another one I used to play - Rastan Saga! This game was a beast!

  • @Nastrodamus

  • What exactly came out 1st Solar Warrior or Metroid? This game awesome when I was 10 the year was 1987. There was a little corner store called NININGOS located in Chicago IL 24th & Hamlin. A small group of people gathered around this game Friday afternoons after school anxious to play this game. This,, Ikari Warriors & Jackal were thee most played in that fabulous 80s generation. Video games like these always take me back. Before this game there was US vs Them way ahead of it's time arcade game.

Ah the legendary '80s, many good memories ...

If memory serves me correctly Metroid came out first 1986?

  • I loved this game! I used to play it at the bowling alley I worked at in the mid-late 80's. I eventually beat the game but this brings back memories. I was just looking for this for the PC this weekend. Any ideas where I could find it?

    Thanks for posting this!!
