  • I feel blessed to have seen them in concert once.

& haha to those that did not!

    ;p

  • Chris was a terrific live drummer. Never too fast; never too slow. Always just right. See you on the other side, Chris!

  • I miss Miki and her sweet vocals..and the rest of the band..

    R.I.P. Chris..

  • The White Room, is it? Good programme, crap 60s-style dancers, though.

  • RIP Chris Acland. Lovely bloke - christ knows what went wrong.

  • Miki Is Still The Reason Why I still Love Girls With Red hair And In Black Tights ...Even Now !

  • Well you'd like me chuckie lol

  • Shame I'm a fat hairy bloke though.

  • Really good performance. I fortunately saw them 8 times while they were together...never a bad show...miss them!

  • Lush...they bring back such good memories..what a great band

  • I used to love Kenickie & Elastica too ! :-)

    Viva Lush !!!

  • Mmm Miki's lips alone is a like a work of art

  • lush forever! :_)

  • Nice 2 hear those songs again :)

Was that the drummer that killed himself? cuz i was going 2 c them when they had made lovelife, but then they cancelled cuz of that :(

  • Pop/rock?

  • actually they are related to Britpop

  • They're related to Britpop in the sense that both things occurred on the same island. Lush never had anything to do with the so-called Britpop thing. They certainly didn't let Tony Blair use them as a marketing gimmick.

If anything, their roots are in the C86 diy music movement; that and a spot of riot grrl. Britpop - no chance.

  • Britpop was just invented by the music press to lump all indie music of the time into the same box. The word Britpop makes me cringe! more suited to the likes of Shed 7 that only made it by jumping on the band wagon. Lush were definately not britpop!!

  • she is hot eh? reminds of uni - snake bite and dm's haha

  • LOL! Ask `em, u never know! >:-D

  • No, the only question it, which end do you want?

  • Excellent band. Saw them live at The Forum in London & it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. At times there were 5 or 6 people stage-diving at once!

  • Lush!

  • I Love that part in "Single Girl" when miki and emma go "OOOOOAAAAAAHHH"!!!

  • saw them live, twice, at prince's old club in Los Angeles and once at Lollapalooza. Awesome.

  • Miki was such an ace in winks. She could bring the male half of the world down to her feet within one or two songs.

  • I'd be curious to know what did they think of the funny go-go dancers on their side... Especially Miki and Emma...

  • Scar was the first CD i ever bought, even before i had a machine. Seen them a couple of times live.

  • MIKI's overbite is the world's single most adorable anatomical aspect.

  • I remember this clip when it came out, I recorded it and watched it several times. I think I fell in love with one that looks most like a tranny.

  • I luv this band!!!!!!!

  • They look a little tired of playing Ladykillers.

  • Thats the idea, isn't it? But what's up with the go-go dancers? Must be a brit thing

  • It was a crappy / sexist White Room thing - they did it for most bands who played that show. I doubt if most of the bands approved, although most of them went along with it anyways. Although I do remember Supergrass to their credit refusing to have the dancers during their set.

Apart from that The White Room was a good music show which deserved to run for longer than it did do.

  • I saw them live. Lucky me!!! Emma is such a hottie.

  • i was very fortunate to have seen them live too. they would have continued to make some great music had chris' not hung himself.

and emma looks great these days, just more mature. wonder what miki looks like?

  • I bet miki is still completly gorgeous! <3

  • Agreed. =)

  • Miki (asked about the key films in her life) : "I was a three-month-old embryo swimming in the woman who scrubbed Sean Connrey's back in "You Only Live Twice""... Yasuko Yamaguchi (Miki's mother) was once a James Bond girl !

  • Lush's sound is infectious once you get them in your brain, you get a virus that lasts a long time...they were unique. Wish I would have seen them live!

  • Gods bless you, Lush. Thank you.

  • jajajaj :D

  • i love you.

  • These girls really knew how to play live!

  • The White Room, I beleive?

  • You can't find that many or none at all that girls play the guitar that rock and sing at the same time. Awesome and inspiring.

  • i love this video!!! it sounds amazing and the girls look so hot in their skirts

  • That was cool!!

  • Oh how I miss this band. Thanks for sharing.
