  • Beautiful painting & music too, Japanese always full of innovative ideas.

Mind you Language , Guys!!!!! , no offend.

  • How it works: The painting is partially done beforehand with phosphorescent paint (or powder mixed with paint). With a strong torchlight it is exposed and will start glowing for a short period of time.

    Cascam

  • How the fuck does it works?

  • @srmarquinho Its a kind of paint that "remember" the light. Did you ever have some star that you put up on your ceiling and at the night they shine ? Well... its a little the same trick. :)

  • I've seen and used the material that he used a few times, more out of goofing off with light. Never would have thought to use it as an art module.

  • @joblim5

UV light + Phosphor, if I am not mistaken...

  • its so beautiful. speech less !!!

  • @kellycats He got a woman to stand between him and the screen, then used a brief flash from a UV lamp to cast her silhouette on the screen.

  • Thats so fucking awesome!

  • @screamoran it reminded me Sonic Colors :D

  • even though i don't know what the people r saying, it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREAK'N COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the effect would have been nicer if the audience had just kept quiet, enjoyed the moment and not make ridiculous sounds. Some things feel sweeter if kept from within, like delight and awe.

  • dam, the background music is good, does anyone know what is the name of it?

  • @756171074 it's your raised me up.

  • it was "you raise me up" performed by celtic women

  • @756171074 This Version Is By The Celtic Women Though

  • any guy that can make 10 hot japanese girls moan sugoi at the same time deserves a medal

  • he used a 205 nm UV LED to draw on a screen coated with phosphorescent paint, probably europium doped strontium aluminate judging from how well the glow is maintained on this screen. notice how the boy, stars, mountain and other things he draws fades with time according to the phosphorescence half-life of the paint. cheaper ZnS paint only glows for seconds before fading.

  • @nipahpig thanks. I've been wondering what he was using. It's amazing. How did he do the whole person in the end?

  • @gcfat It's You Raise Me Up by the Celtic Women ^-^

  • It's called long term exposure, idea used in photography to produce the effect of trailing lights achieved by slow shutter speed, that's also why the actual people appeared to be "skipping" on screen cuz the camera is rolling at a lower frame rate. In his case the screen might act as the film used in camera, "captures" the light as he "draws"; or it is simply a backlit projector that really was just projecting whatever was being recorded on a digital camera that's being sat up behind the scree

  • @SMNYTIMES u have no idea what ur talking about mate... wat u said might work but it is not what they used.

  • @SMNYTIMES

Nooooooo.......... He's using a very inexpensive 405nm near-UV LED penlight on a (probably) strontium oxide aluminate paint-coated screen. I've been doing this using shorter-duration (and much cheaper) zinc sulfide paint for a while now (albeit not NEARLY so artistically! :-), though I normally use a (likewise-cheap) laser. It impresses the heck out of the neighborhood kids.

  • cool

  • R.I.P Jiraiya-sensei

  • beautiful..

  • The wall or whatever he is 'painting' on is covered with like those glow in the dark type of liquid, i think. And using intense light from the torch light, gives out that effect. That's what i think and not base on anything. ==

  • @TheManiacMonkeys yea.....theres something at the wall/screen/wat ever...

  • @RedMrRo i believe its the glow in the dark thing

  • You Raise Me Up - Celtic Women

  • Agreed with lionheart75 .anyway what is the show name ?

  • When we r alone , God's angel is there to protect us , He sent His Son Jesus for us , He created the universe , and we should rest in His peace n He will be with us Always , and forever

  • this also tells us good things do not last long

  • CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT HE USE TO PRODUCT THE EFFECT/?!

  • 超きれいな~!!天使だ!

  • maybe he's using some form of molecular excitation? I'm curious to know what's the material he used :o

  • I. AM. IMPRESSED.

  • may i know what light-pen is that ?

  • this is very very awesome~~~

the skills, art, talents and creativity of the Japanese amazes me. always...

  • so touching music and drawing.. ><

  • awesome!! i found this only one in youtube!

  • Can i know what is the song name please? thanks.. =))

  • @gcfat you raise me up. alot of ppl sang it. just search for it and you'll get it

  • Surface = Glow in the dark material.

Instrument = UV torch light. Close up = bright dots. At an angle for the gradient etc.
