Well....I fear Vangelis would not like to listen this song off step and more close to a vals....even the player has eliminated some steps from the original. Sorry, but free interpretation is risky and many times snatches the real spirit that any piece is conceived by the author.

I think he has done this very well. Maybe its not all the time the perfect rythm and speed, but im sure its not that he plays it wrong, he just finds a speed he enjoys the most. Im playing some Songs in my own way/speed. And dont judge someone playing this beatiful song so nice! I would be very happy if i could play this song so emotionaly like you did. I cannot agree. The preformer has obviously seen a piano before, but that's just about it. This is not the way to play this piece, being the soul bit of it, nor the technical bit, aspecially concidered the beat. Practice.
