  • ...Hauntingly Beautiful...

  • Hello!

Dunno why but the vocalist sings like Imogen Heap.. or De phaaz.. something like that..

Have a nice day and.. good luck.

  • Think this was the American original. Lots of U.S. songs get re-written and released by a different artist. I lived in the U.S. and for the first year heard lots of British songs sung by American artists getting into the charts.

  • @HardWarUK don't be so fuckin stupid.

  • @HardWarUK song was writen by ian brown, he did not cover it

  • Who's Dann?

  • That is fucking aweful. Literally the worst vid on here. Utter shite. Anyone who's heard the original will want to find you and take a ball for posting this.

  • SHIT!SHIT!SHIT! :-(

  • Brown is a fuckin prig asshle, however, he's an amazing musician-composer

  • Dann is short for Dan Liebermann.

The song has influenced a fan-made banner on the Stretford End at English football club Manchester United's home stadium Old Trafford. The sign reads "For Everymanc A Religion", a take on the lyric "For everyman a religion".

  • The music video for "F.E.A.R." marked Ian's directorial debut. It featured footage of the singer slowly riding a bicycle through the busy streets of Soho and Chinatown in London, which was then reversed to give the impression of being ridden backwards. The route followed was from Berwick Street to Gerrard Street.

  • @MrAlfHookham where can ifind this video i have had many debates in pubs about this video an people dont believe me..HelpX

  • The song incorporates a creative lyric scheme where each verse forms the acrostic "F.E.A.R." (For example, "For each a road" and "Fallen empires are ruling").

In an interview with Clash magazine, Ian indicated that a main influence for "F.E.A.R." was The Autobiography of Malcolm X, which preached the study of etymology, so that one could have "control over people through the use of language." The Monkey Man proceeded to create hundreds of acronyms from the word "fear".

  • @MrAlfHookham so much within t his
