@Rakim8 Beyonce is a good all around entertainer and she is a better singer than Rihanna, I never denied that; however, what I was saying is that I like Rihanna's artistry better and her unique voice and style of singing. Her voice isn't particularly pretty, it's whiney, gritty, emotional, and strong which gives her the ability to sing about just any genre, except of course opera. She has a much edgier voice and style than any other singer. Also her song choices for this album was incredible.

@Rakim8 Beyonce is a good all around entertainer and she is a better singer than Rihanna, I never denied that; however, what I was saying is that I like Rihanna's artistry better and her unique voice and style of singing. Her voice isn't particularly pretty, it's whiney, gritty, emotional, and strong which gives her the ability to sing about just any genre, except of course opera. She has a much edgier voice and style than any other singer. Also her song choices for this album was incredible.

No one mentioned Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Hudson or the rest of those d-grade singers.
Beyonce is a better singer than all of those you mentioned because she is able to 'all-round' sing better.

Beyone better than Christina or any other new singer working now is opinion but overall Christina and Leona but have better ranges with powerful voices. Beyonce is good but her vibrato annoys the hell outta me. Artisry is not opinion, it's either there or it isn't. Artistry inspires and is unique. There was nothing unique or inspiring about Beyonce's Sasha Fierce.

I think Rihanna is given the chance based on her looks....ofcourse she must have some talent and feel for music.
