I remember when ebay started it was great - now it just sucks with all the selling limits , and all customer service is farmed out over seas...im heading to ecrater for the main sales...ebay just sucks...anymore.
As a seller, I had the same problem once. A buyer did not pay but for some reason, Paypal took money from my account and "reversed" money that was never paid. So eBay/paypal actually gave the buyer money. I appealed and told them to look at the case carefully and they reversed the reversal. So I got my money back, but some of them should be laid off for not spending 3 mins to look at the case carefully.
@irocz0r No, sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for buyers. The only negative thing sellers can do is "File A Unpaid Item Dispute", but buyers and anyone else for that matter can always open up a new account so it really doesn't make a difference.
Thumbs up if you would love to whip John Donahoe ass! You need to record conversations like that. It will destroy them. We would love to hear it. We all go through these problems as its very common. @moonlightkisu exacly. im a power seller on ebay and i hate when someone buys my items with 0 or 25 feedback and dont finish the payment. when i buy something on ebay i pay right away. not 22 days later or something like that.
the eBay rep didnt say that lol. If the buyer does not pay for the item and he negs you, all you have to do is call eBay and get it removed. Your obviously lying, or you just talked to a bad rep. I would like to be able to neg a seller when they deserve it , without being afraid of retaliation, when i am an honest buyer who always pays instantly and is a good customer

I sold a gold coin on ebay and sent the item out. he claimed he never got the item and filed an claim with paypal and paypal put my account in a $125 negative balance. So I lost the gold coin plus $125 bucks! this was a couple years ago. I didnt have a tracking number or delivery confirmation so I'm screwed. I just mailed it out normal. Paypal can kiss my ass they will never get that money from me. EBAY and PAYPAL are scams.
So how is PayPal supposed to know you really sent out the coin? Are they supposed to know you soo good to believe you?? How would you feel if you bought something have it never show up and you call PayPal and they say "I know the seller has no proof of ever sending out your item, but we trust his word not yours, bye" I guess ingornant people have to learn somehow, usually they only learn when they get hit in their wallet.
It goes both ways, dear. I'm a buyer who got ripped off by a seller. There is at least as much scamming on the part of sellers, as there are buyers. At least.
yes pewterbot9, there are some bad sellers, I agree. I have even had trouble with some, and I was able to neg them. yet, it does not work the other way around, which was my point. It's just not fair
you as a buyer get ripped, ebay gives you the money back, charges the seller the amount you received plus paypal fees so all you lost was time, yet you still can Neg the seller.
A seller gets ripped, the buyer gets everything and not even normal considerations as crazeenydriver mentioned. Everything is for the buyer, Selling fees keep going up while sales prices on items have died, ebay and their Buyers will pay, when sellers won't sell, because they can't afford to keep losing money
@crazeenydriver crazy man answer me 1 question, are there bad people where you live? how many people use ebay around the world probably more then the population on usa, you talk alot of krap and your still a baby.
@maliyaxxxx for the majorty ebay sucks paypal is scam just because u have a great time doesnt make ebaythe best ive been scammed out of 300 dollars paypal has it on lock for no reason i have 100% possitive feedback so i called they said its because i only sold 8 items .. really so they waited 8th item later and now they wanna hold my shit till feedback from buyer i have 60 feedcbacks all positive now i gtta wait 21 days never again now they goin offline i bet ebay is gnna come up with a new fee
@crazeenydriver What DONT you understand about the simple fact that it's always been throughout HISTORY the CONSUMER who gets RIPPED IN THE FUCKIN ASS, & therefore it's HE or SHE who HAS ALWAYS NEEDED PROTECTION WAY WAY WAAAAAY more than the fricken SELLER? Frankly I don't see wtf you are whining about AT ALL. You had ONE GUY wrote ONE TINY NEGATIVE REVIEW against your STERLING 100% and you FLIPPED YOUR GORD? WOW. Your nuts. Truly. Howz Not Paying u "RIPPING YOU OFF" if you don't SEND anything?
@pewterbot9 Sure, it goes both ways.... That's not what he's saying... Buyer have numerous things they do about it; No so for sellers. A seller can do little, if he's plunged into a situation with a bad buyer-
@Ebenoozen Wrong: buyers do *not have it better than sellers. It is way too easy for a seller to ripoff a buyer. Example: sending a package with no content (except junk for weight)...proof of delivery let's the seller get away with it. When it's a seller's word against a buyer's, the seller always wins. I'm so glad I've unsubscribed from both eBay and PayPal...no protect for the buyer against seller fraud, at all.
@pewterbot9 I'd love to know when it was you "left" ebay...(Things have changed greatly in the past few years). And the way you decribe that you "grabbed up your marbles, and ran home", I wonder if you kind of allowed it to happen. I can't think you were this person's first scam; What did their F/B look like?? I'm borth a seller AND buyer. As a buyer, I am God... As a seller, I am at the mercy of buyers. I have been there, done that, and honey... I am wearing the proverbial T-shirt!
@Ebenoozen posted: "I'd love to know when it was you "left" ebay...(Things have changed greatly in the past few years)."
A little over a year ago.
"I'm borth a seller AND buyer"
Doesn't mean you're not strongly biased in favor of the seller. Most sellers are also buyers; you're nothing special. I am not impressed with your "buyer" smokescreen.
@pewterbot9 Just an observation, but I think you're paranoid, and dillusional, and have a bit of a "princess complex", even at your age. And when you have to start defending yourself, instead of your argument, it's time for dismisal. You are now dismissed... B--bye!
@Ebenoozen: You just proved my point: you *are biased against buyers. The truth be told: ripping off by sellers and customers are pretty much on a equal basis. You want people to believe that buyers by far, are the worst. You shut me out like that, before I have a chance to provide the details...I am pissed off, not paranoid. *You are the one who's paranoid, with your sudden censorship of a buyer's complaint against sellers who feign abuse.
@pewterbot9 I admit it... buyers can be big cry babies, with a license to kill. They can be corrupt, and as devious as any seller. I know this will come as a terrible shock to you, but not ALL seller wear halos! And I also know, that EVERY story has TWO sides to it. I'd love to know what this meniacle seller of yours has to say.
@Ebenoozen snorted: "Just an observation, but I think you're paranoid"
That's no observation, it's a rude and sanctimonious insult, typical of many self-righteous sellers who think their poop doesn't stink. I am not interested in defending myself or my arguments, as I know too well the sort of ignorant remarks I'll get in response. You're a cabal of two-timing sellers who pretend you're all oh-so-honest-and-responsible, and all buyers suck. What a joke!
@pewterbot9 You've got it all figured out, dontchya honey?! Geee... I'll bet you're a millionaire, as you know sooooo much more than the average individual. Let me guess... single?
@Ebenoozen: Your behavior suggests one with a mental instability (to put it politely)...certainly doesn't reflect well on the seller community. This does not surprise me in the least.
@pewterbot9 OOoooo... Sounds like I slapped you where your feathers are the thinnest. I've read some of your other posts. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks"
@Ebenoozen: I can't take anything you say seriously, I'm too intelligent for that. This channel caters to sellers who scapegoat buyers. A legitimate channel would treat buyers and sellers equally, realizing that the *real enemy is eBay/Paypal...which treats both buyers and sellers like trash. Sorry, but I think I'll turn down your offer to board this ship of fools...*seller fools, at that.
@pewterbot9 Well... when you have finished patting yourself on the back, you might want to entertain an outside opinion. Ask your friends what they think... BOTH of them- If you have to toot your own horn that much, you oviously have such an inflated ego, that... Well-, To be sure, I've jousted with the best of them, and can handle anything but a closed mind. I am straightening the deck chairs on the Titanic, conversing with a faux genius.
@Ebenoozen: If you had any *substance to your juvenile rants, perhaps someone would listen. As it stands, your blabber is inconsequential at best. At worst, it makes all sellers look bad.
@Ebenoozen Oh, I'm listening alright. But your claim that this *proves your point, is a pinheaded conclusion. But what else should I expect from sluggards...intelligence? Ha! By your own logic, you too are listening 'cause you bother to reply; ergo, I am proven correct. If you ever pull your head out of your arse, you might grow a brain. And that's a promise!
@pewterbot9 well i got more good then bad on ebay , this new york joker talks krap and need a slap in the face, ebay helps sellers and buyers in many ways, good and bad happens everywhere, I buy and sell on ebay and so far it has been great and I love ebay cuz I get stuff at the best prices, I made big bucks on ebay too and have buyed lovely items from there so I recommend ebay to everyone as the best place to buy and sell.
Right: confide your outrage to the fox guarding the chicken coop. eBay *is part of the problem. Reporting a justified complaint to them, is like dropping it into a black hole. Good luck with that.
Non paying customers are just part of the business. You have to factor them in obviously. But negative feedback must be forbidden in such case because if customer doesn't buy anything there is no contract between both parties on which to make any judgement about feedback.
we have the power to remove the feedback if the feedback is proven to be unecessary. what you're saying is totally unrealistic.and we don't take sides. as a customer support, we respect both sellers and buyers but we don't have the power to change what eBay policy makers does. hope this clears things up.
Not half as much as negative sellers who ship empty packets and claim they mailed the item requested, and neither eBay nor PayPal do one friggin' thing about it, except to tell the buyer: "Sorry that's between you and the seller."
More less the same thing happend to me with a non paying bidder who left a neg on me... Only the ebay guy was nice and never said all the things you say they say about not careing about sellers I mean They don't care but they wont say it..
Well after being on the phone and bitching and not taking no for an answer the guy says I'll take care of it and next thing I see negative feedback is gone..
I simply don't use eBay or PayPal anymore - and my life is not suffering one tiny little bit.
In fact selling and buying items through adverts in the press and at car boot sales has actually been more fun and more profitable than eBay ever was.
I 100% agree with this whole create fake accounts. We should target Power Sellers because they're the ones that are likely to close their accounts first (or at least complain). I actually have a couple of fakes accounts, just in case someone unfairly negs me or neuts me. Because most buyers are selling something small, so I use that power to knock their seller power off the site. It's mean I know, but no more so then what they're doing.
thats horrible the way ebay sides with buyers. but im glad you called them after what that buyer did and you got your negitive taken off. you stood up for yourself and made a difference. ebay has to learn how to be fair to sellers. if it wasnt for sellers they would have no buyers which means no ebay.
When you asked the rep what he thought of John Donahoe and his response was that he liked him, please know that the fucktard had no choice BUT to say that. Otherwise, he TOO would be on the next batch of pink-slip issues.
(not enough room for my post so will be right back)
Oh, and let me correct you. I don't know if its just your New York accent or not, but it sounds like you are saying the dickhead's name with a "hue" on the end, like DonaHUE. Anyway, its "HO" and is spelled DonaHOE. I had to address this issue to save those sorry people who ARE the "hues" :)
I read the memo a few months ago where employees were encouraged to put the buyer first, another one of Donahoe's manouvers which destroyed the site.
all is takes is a explanation and persistence to show that you will not stand for it plus one caring rep on the other side of the line that truly has a heart ......that allows him to push one simple button: -)
Oh my friggen GOD. I'm only 1/3 of the way through this video and I'm MORE than friggen FIRED UP. I assure you THAT much. Oh, and the buyer who got his thingy-strike removed? It was probably Donahoe Junior. Okay, I'm off to finish watching the video before I lose my momentum.
EBAY is a publisher, an advertiser (like the newspapers so to speak). So I think they should BUTT out of people's business! They stick their nose where it is not welcome, to impose paypal, to impose feedback, and to stick their silly rules up our dupaz - that interfere with people's livlihood. Just place the ad, and then leave the business up to the seller and buyer. All the seller needs to do is play for their ad if it was correct, otherwise ebay can FO. And ebay can say what is permitted.
IF ebay is a publisher, the state of California is about to SLAP a retail tax on ALL ebay sales from every state!
California Bill 178, introduced 2/2/09 defines what will create a nexus in California: Any retailer entering into an agreement with a resident of this state under which the resident, for a commission or other consideration, directly or indirectly refers potential customers of tangible personal property, whether by a link or an Internet Web site or otherwise to the retailer

I've been scammed by eBay sellers, upwards of $3,000 stolen on multiple transactions and multiple sellers over the course of 2 1/2 years.
It's about time eBay started sucking up to buyers, too many dead-beat Power-Sellers have been raping eBay buyers for too long.
So I disagree with egotistical fucktards like you running rampant on eBay and ripping off honest buyers like me into bankruptcy.
So go fuck yourself, crazeeNYdriver.

At least.
pewterbot9 2 years ago
yes pewterbot9, there are some bad sellers, I agree. I have even had trouble with some, and I was able to neg them. yet, it does not work the other way around, which was my point. It's just not fair
crazeenydriver 2 years ago 4
eBay/PayPal sucks in both directions! I'm unsubscribing from both, now that I've been a victim of the ripoff. Thanks for blowing the whistle!
pewterbot9 2 years ago
lol, ur so funny, the NEG WAS REMOVED! lol
kevodevil 2 years ago
you as a buyer get ripped, ebay gives you the money back, charges the seller the amount you received plus paypal fees so all you lost was time, yet you still can Neg the seller.

NarcolepticDogstar 5 months ago
@pewterbot9 Sure, it goes both ways.... That's not what he's saying... Buyer have numerous things they do about it; No so for sellers. A seller can do little, if he's plunged into a situation with a bad buyer-
Ebenoozen 1 year ago

"I'm borth a seller AND buyer"
Doesn't mean you're not strongly biased in favor of the seller. Most sellers are also buyers; you're nothing special. I am not impressed with your "buyer" smokescreen.
pewterbot9 1 year ago
@pewterbot9 Just an observation, but I think you're paranoid, and dillusional, and have a bit of a "princess complex", even at your age. And when you have to start defending yourself, instead of your argument, it's time for dismisal. You are now dismissed... B--bye!
Ebenoozen 1 year ago
@Ebenoozen: You just proved my point: you *are biased against buyers. The truth be told: ripping off by sellers and customers are pretty much on a equal basis. You want people to believe that buyers by far, are the worst. You shut me out like that, before I have a chance to provide the details...I am pissed off, not paranoid. *You are the one who's paranoid, with your sudden censorship of a buyer's complaint against sellers who feign abuse.
pewterbot9 1 year ago
@pewterbot9 I admit it... buyers can be big cry babies, with a license to kill. They can be corrupt, and as devious as any seller. I know this will come as a terrible shock to you, but not ALL seller wear halos! And I also know, that EVERY story has TWO sides to it. I'd love to know what this meniacle seller of yours has to say.
Ebenoozen 1 year ago
@Ebenoozen snorted: "Just an observation, but I think you're paranoid"
That's no observation, it's a rude and sanctimonious insult, typical of many self-righteous sellers who think their poop doesn't stink. I am not interested in defending myself or my arguments, as I know too well the sort of ignorant remarks I'll get in response. You're a cabal of two-timing sellers who pretend you're all oh-so-honest-and-responsible, and all buyers suck. What a joke!
pewterbot9 1 year ago
@pewterbot9 You've got it all figured out, dontchya honey?! Geee... I'll bet you're a millionaire, as you know sooooo much more than the average individual. Let me guess... single?
Ebenoozen 1 year ago
@Ebenoozen: Your behavior suggests one with a mental instability (to put it politely)...certainly doesn't reflect well on the seller community. This does not surprise me in the least.

@pewterbot9 OOoooo... Sounds like I slapped you where your feathers are the thinnest. I've read some of your other posts. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks"
Ebenoozen 1 year ago
@Ebenoozen: I can't take anything you say seriously, I'm too intelligent for that. This channel caters to sellers who scapegoat buyers. A legitimate channel would treat buyers and sellers equally, realizing that the *real enemy is eBay/Paypal...which treats both buyers and sellers like trash. Sorry, but I think I'll turn down your offer to board this ship of fools...*seller fools, at that.
pewterbot9 1 year ago
@pewterbot9 Well... when you have finished patting yourself on the back, you might want to entertain an outside opinion. Ask your friends what they think... BOTH of them- If you have to toot your own horn that much, you oviously have such an inflated ego, that... Well-, To be sure, I've jousted with the best of them, and can handle anything but a closed mind. I am straightening the deck chairs on the Titanic, conversing with a faux genius.
Ebenoozen 1 year ago
@Ebenoozen: If you had any *substance to your juvenile rants, perhaps someone would listen. As it stands, your blabber is inconsequential at best. At worst, it makes all sellers look bad.
pewterbot9 1 year ago
@pewterbot9 Well, obviously, honey... YOU---are listening... Because you keep replying to them!! M I S S I O N...... accomplished! LOL
Ebenoozen 1 year ago
@Ebenoozen Oh, I'm listening alright. But your claim that this *proves your point, is a pinheaded conclusion. But what else should I expect from sluggards...intelligence? Ha! By your own logic, you too are listening 'cause you bother to reply; ergo, I am proven correct. If you ever pull your head out of your arse, you might grow a brain. And that's a promise!

@pewterbot9 well i got more good then bad on ebay , this new york joker talks krap and need a slap in the face, ebay helps sellers and buyers in many ways, good and bad happens everywhere, I buy and sell on ebay and so far it has been great and I love ebay cuz I get stuff at the best prices, I made big bucks on ebay too and have buyed lovely items from there so I recommend ebay to everyone as the best place to buy and sell.

i'd have to agree on that.
don't worry though because we can do better ways and remove that bad feedback for customers. let eBay know ASAP.

@DangerousDaveify foolishly advised: "let eBay know ASAP."
Right: confide your outrage to the fox guarding the chicken coop. eBay *is part of the problem. Reporting a justified complaint to them, is like dropping it into a black hole. Good luck with that.

Now there is a way to put Negative Feedback on buyers who trash your eBay page with a negative. Check out my channel for the answer.
NegativeFeedbackInc 2 years ago
Non paying customers are just part of the business. You have to factor them in obviously. But negative feedback must be forbidden in such case because if customer doesn't buy anything there is no contract between both parties on which to make any judgement about feedback.
kaasis85 2 years ago
now sir, that ain't true.
we have the power to remove the feedback if the feedback is proven to be unecessary. what you're saying is totally unrealistic.and we don't take sides. as a customer support, we respect both sellers and buyers but we don't have the power to change what eBay policy makers does. hope this clears things up.

Not half as much as negative sellers who ship empty packets and claim they mailed the item requested, and neither eBay nor PayPal do one friggin' thing about it, except to tell the buyer: "Sorry that's between you and the seller."

LMAO That was a good one..
Also I have about $45,000 gross sales a month

I simply don't use eBay or PayPal anymore - and my life is not suffering one tiny little bit.
In fact selling and buying items through adverts in the press and at car boot sales has actually been more fun and more profitable than eBay ever was.
Good riddance eBay/PayPal

Congrats on the negectomy! :)

There's alternatives. Craigs list gets better results for us than ebaylately. So we don't have to use ebay exclusively. Use other venues too.

Donsshack 2 years ago
IF ebay is a publisher, the state of California is about to SLAP a retail tax on ALL ebay sales from every state!
California Bill 178, introduced 2/2/09 defines what will create a nexus in California: Any retailer entering into an agreement with a resident of this state under which the resident, for a commission or other consideration, directly or indirectly refers potential customers of tangible personal property, whether by a link or an Internet Web site or otherwise to the retailer
