Cool stuff !!! You might want to add 1970s in your tags. Also add aircheck or airchecks as a separate word in the tags. I searched youtube for 1970s airchecks and this video did not show up but I found it my accident. The last 15 seconds of this video is blank. I appreciate the work done to create and post this video ! Thanks ! It shows that radio back then was a lot better than today !
What a hoot. I love when Eric is kind of mocking the traffic guy. Being in radio myself, I've done those kinds of things so many times... but I never had a camera recording the moment. (Thank God). LOL But yeah, I've done the rolling of the eyes, sticking my tongue out at the mic, etc. Some day... I may grow up... it just won't be today.
El Chasero used the name Paul Christy for many years in Houston, lastly at 107.5 which had been KLDE. He's again Eric Chase doing satellite radio for the old Tom Kent Network.

This is not 1978
It is June 1979
I wish we still had DJs that sounded like this.

He still uses Paul Christy for his voiceover and on air work. He recently started doing weekends at Classic Rock/KKRW Houston.. as Paul Christy
