I think that clubmurder has a lot of potential and it is about time that you use your talent to break new ground instead of re-utilizing 'winning formulas' such as the ones employed. I think your music goes much deeper then that and your idea of brutality should be much deeper and more reflective then what is being actually portrayed. The usual bloody scenes won't really do the trick anymore. TV has really made us all quite immune to severed bodies.

Rat12 sry if the vid might not be up to your standards, but consider there was 1 makeup artist and 2 guys who did all the scripting,directing,lighting, filming and editing by themselves, there were no resources,sponsors or help from other companies,no big studios to wrk in or props. Just 2 friends who are both into this art. Dirty Iris(Dj of CM) and Mark Arrigo who decided to have their first well planned go at a horror music video. ;)
its not about standards!! the standards are quite good for the resources at hand. I criticise the ideas used. They've been done and redone so many times before. Don't take me wrong if I give my honest opinion. Obviously if I take this video in relation to what has been done locally I will obviously say that it is beyond ones expectations.
Fair enough man , but considering its a zombie vid, normally zombies just bite, these ones attack more violently i guess lol. after all its only a music video with some style. this is not a movie so that sort of importance wasnt givin to it that much ,and some things take alot more time and budget than most ppl think. we would love to have exploding corpses and corpse eating disposal units lol but not everythin can be done as imagined unless you have movie studios and film budgets to work with.

I am obviously not condemning the fact that you revisited certain cinematographic styles, it could certainly be a fruitful creative experience if done with an original spark but unfortunately this is not the case.

I've yet to encounter a metal band that is more brutal then Beethoven. Bands like Devourment sound like untamed pussies next to the 5th symphony. Any respected metal band would crawl on its knees next to that great classical master. I think its quite offensive towards Clubmurder when you assume that their great potential should limited to kitsch!!
Its good to see that a maltese metal band finally has the resources to make a decently produced music video but its also a pity to see that all they came up it was a bag of kitsch and cliches!!
