People say their new songs dont have as much meaning as they used to, I disagree because when I first heard Above The Noise the emotional songs really touched me, so much so that I cried on many occasions because the emotion they were putting in was unreal, I still love these boys as much as I did when I was 5, I think my love has escalated even more which I didnt think was possible
The passion they both have for music is so incredible, you can tell by the look on their faces as they're talking, and as they're performing... and how it comes completely natural to them is amazing. McFly hasn't changed, the talent and passion is still completely there. They're just trying out new things, McFly still is, and will always be amazing.
They sound so amazing. Their voices have matured unbelievably well and their techniques in singing sounds so smooth. I love this! I need this on my iPod!
I really want them to go back to their old style. The reason i actually "gave up" on them is because their last album was just another pop album. Nothing special. Their last work had no meaning... I don't know.. You may say that i'm not a true fan but that's the truth really. I was living for them! Now i listen to their old songs and i'm thinking "please God, tell me they didn't lose it".
@twilightcreational I disagree, I believe their meanings have just changed. It's not as if they're forgetting what they used to be. They still play for the music; not the fame. Even if Above The Noise wasn't exactly what fans were expecting, it doesn't mean it has any less depth than albums before it. And if you listen to the lyrics to the new songs, or even the other demos that didn't make it to the album, they're still where you want them(:
