I dont like the mission with the Plains. I just want to be in Haven City. I want that Jak can use his dark side of the eko. Also the story is not the best it sucks. And i want that Noughty Dog greats the next game and it should be Jak 4 a nex game for the last (Jak 3) where the story goes on.
They changed the plot of the games completely. The only connection to previous games is that eco is the life force of the planet. I understand why they chose to make a shortage of eco, but never once in precious games were there pirates and planes. The graphics are horrible too. They shouldn't have changed Keira's clothes, either. Or GOTTEN RID OF JAK'S GOATEE!!! They made Jak look soft. And Daxter shouldn't have dark powers because they say in jak3 he was blessed because he's a precurser.

They got rid of a lot of characters, such as Tess, Torn, Ashlin, Sig, Rayn, Jinx, Razor, and more. They also made pointless weapons, eliminated Jak's dark powers and light powers, and changed the purposes of blue, red, green, and yellow eco all together. It's difficult to kill enemies, very annoying. Also, where did these eco pirates come from? And the brink of the world?

It doesn't even look like how we remember Jak n Daxter. It really ruins the mood set in the other three games. Naughty Dog has to take back over and release HD versions for the PS3 or make a new game, like what happened with the other dark precursor ships? When I bought Jak X, I also felt like the whole story of the other three games was destroyed, but at least it had the right humour and wit. The last frontier is just a wanna be epic skypirate ohnowelostinspiration battle game.
@flamesdemon19 The characters were suppost to die because in Jak X they took the poison from the beginning of the game and when Jak finally won the races and got the antidote, it seems that it was another trick to increase the speed of the poison killing them, and thats the end of Jak X (they dont show what happens next to them).
If you still dont understand, try playing Jak X or watching the final cutscene (ending) of the game somewhere on YouTube.

@Darkecoo I agree. They ruined it. It's almost like they based it off the game. I cant stand the air ship bit. I like te difference, but that's a bit much. I completely agree. The graphics were awful. Nothing looked right. The ships were akward and the land scenes were not animated very well.
The grapgics are awful, and the characters only loook like them, because of the same colors. Ex: Keira's hair and Jak's Tunic. The story line is okay, but it's kind of lame. Though its nice to see another evolution in the use of eco, the extra powers are a bit far-fetched. another thing, Jak should stay on the ground. Familiar players are uses to having the ground play ands not having to deal with weird controls in a plane. How in the world does Dark Eco change Daxter into the Tazmanian Devil?

The best game I ever played on the PS2 (along with Ratchet and Clank) was Jak 3. OH MY GOD WAS THAT GAME FUN! I would just love to stay in the heat of battle and kill all those droids and leave the Precursors in the Spargus City and battle them with the civilians. The weapons were so AWESOME. My favorite had to be the original Blaster Rifle, I felt like a real soldier using that thing. Jak 3 was IMO, the best of the Jak series. I had Jak X: Combat Racing that was fun, but Jak 3 was the shit!
Naughty Dog screwed up, giving this game & plot to High Impact Games. My cousin, who worked for NG (quit when they passed on J&D) was really pissed...he helped design Keira, but when he saw what they had done to her, he flipped. The original plot was gonna be that Jak goes back to the Isle (area from Jak I) to discover more about the Eco and Mar (along with the precursors). Then there was gonna be some time jumping, and more action. But when HIG got the came, they completely changed the plot. :(

Jak1 was a great game, short of graphics and some epic gameplay, but still great.
Jak2 was a huge step up from jak1, and seemed a lot better. #3 was killer, the best naughty dog probably had to offer since Crash. Jak X seemed uninteresting, race after race. But this new one seems rather boring. I think flying should have been stopped at HellCats. Eco pirates sounds somewhat irrelevant to the jak and daxter world.

It IS on ps2 actually, and although its recognised as the 5th in the series (including jak x) its not even made by the same people. Its short, easy and the graphics are reather bland. And although the whole idea of the world running out of eco is pretty cool, the story and new characters suck.
I absolutely love the jak series and I got this game because I love the story and the style. The gameplay is also great but I didn't expect it to be the same in the lost frontier. Although things did change it is surprisingly alright in my book. I think focus on the whole flying thing is cool but we all play jak because we want to play as jak. If i wanted to fly planes I would've bought a flying game. If the planes were in there and jak went to different worlds with some air battles i could deal

The first game was so inventive. The entire world was rich and the characters/creatures were completely original.
And then in #2 guns were introduced. Which is by far the worst thing they could have done to this series.
The entire point of the first game was Jak using the Eco to fight his enemies, but in #2 Eco was completely pointless. (excepting green). but even then, the way they used green Eco it was like they could have just introduced a health bar that regenerated over time. #2 ruined it.

Jack & Daxter's game has changed so much that it had lost what fans originally liked about the first game. Example, many fans expected to see something similar continue in pt 2 but instead c the story take a completely different turn. One wich was not entirely liked by those acustomed to seeing a mystical and naturalistic landscape.

The grapgics are awful, and the characters only loook like them, because of the same colors. Ex: Keira's hair and Jak's Tunic. The story line is okay, but it's kind of lame. Though its nice to see another evolution in the use of eco, the extra powers are a bit far-fetched. another thing, Jak should stay on the ground. Familiar players are uses to having the ground play ands not having to deal with weird controls in a plane. How in the world does Dark Eco change Daxter into the Tazmanian Devil?

I'm for real pissed about what happened. that game was a major part of my childhood. #1 greatest of them all hands down no contest, #2 still great but lacking what the first had. #3 still good, but getting even worse. Jak X and on= complete shit that completely destroyed the luster of the first 3. i would say that i hope your actually listening to all of this so you can fix what you've broken. but its FAR too late for that.

The best game I ever played on the PS2 (along with Ratchet and Clank) was Jak 3. OH MY GOD WAS THAT GAME FUN! I would just love to stay in the heat of battle and kill all those droids and leave the Precursors in the Spargus City and battle them with the civilians. The weapons were so AWESOME. My favorite had to be the original Blaster Rifle, I felt like a real soldier using that thing. Jak 3 was IMO, the best of the Jak series. I had Jak X: Combat Racing that was fun, but Jak 3 was the shit!

Naughty Dog screwed up, giving this game & plot to High Impact Games. My cousin, who worked for NG (quit when they passed on J&D) was really pissed...he helped design Keira, but when he saw what they had done to her, he flipped. The original plot was gonna be that Jak goes back to the Isle (area from Jak I) to discover more about the Eco and Mar (along with the precursors). Then there was gonna be some time jumping, and more action. But when HIG got the came, they completely changed the plot. :(

Jak1 was a great game, short of graphics and some epic gameplay, but still great.
Jak2 was a huge step up from jak1, and seemed a lot better. #3 was killer, the best naughty dog probably had to offer since Crash. Jak X seemed uninteresting, race after race. But this new one seems rather boring. I think flying should have been stopped at HellCats. Eco pirates sounds somewhat irrelevant to the jak and daxter world.

The graphics are crap, new voice overs are not what we want. All characters now, are based from previous. Don't copy, if you want to make another one, be ORIGINAL! Plot line isn't too bad, but it went from an adventure to being just levels of a game. you had more free roam in all the previous games. All in all, it sucks.

It IS on ps2 actually, and although its recognised as the 5th in the series (including jak x) its not even made by the same people. Its short, easy and the graphics are reather bland. And although the whole idea of the world running out of eco is pretty cool, the story and new characters suck.

I absolutely love the jak series and I got this game because I love the story and the style. The gameplay is also great but I didn't expect it to be the same in the lost frontier. Although things did change it is surprisingly alright in my book. I think focus on the whole flying thing is cool but we all play jak because we want to play as jak. If i wanted to fly planes I would've bought a flying game. If the planes were in there and jak went to different worlds with some air battles i could deal

The story ended where the original creators left everything done by another company should be considered rape.
we 've sene it with Crash bandicoot and 3 times with Spyro. Insomniac and naughtydog are awesome but they should stop selling their fanloved character to other company's who will undoubtfully rape them.

The first game was so inventive. The entire world was rich and the characters/creatures were completely original.
And then in #2 guns were introduced. Which is by far the worst thing they could have done to this series.
The entire point of the first game was Jak using the Eco to fight his enemies, but in #2 Eco was completely pointless. (excepting green). but even then, the way they used green Eco it was like they could have just introduced a health bar that regenerated over time. #2 ruined it.

Jack & Daxter's game has changed so much that it had lost what fans originally liked about the first game. Example, many fans expected to see something similar continue in pt 2 but instead c the story take a completely different turn. One wich was not entirely liked by those acustomed to seeing a mystical and naturalistic landscape.
