i have a game building program and im playing around with it, but when i'm done it would be nice to play it with a controller on my tv. do you know if there is anyway to get a game you've made onto an empty nes or ds cartridge or maybe just put it on an sd card and play it on the wii? there really is no point in making the game if it's just going to stay on my computer. im just a novice, so i don't program circuits or solder wires or anything. i just want an easy way to enjoy the games i make.

@Misterluckydumbo They both have their ups and downsides: Mario builder lets you easily make levels and worlds which is cool and GM makes you able to do everything as YOU wish it.

@Misterluckydumbo People who say Game Maker sucks are either fanboys or just have never used it. I am a programmer, but when I go to make something, I like to choose the most professional, quickest way. Such as VC# for an application, or VBS/JS for a simple bot. But if I want to make a game, I mostly go to Game Maker.

I also like it because of how simple it makes programming look. Game Maker is a great tool to help people understand the concepts behind computer programming languages.
